AL Finalist | National Geographic Bee 2011

hi I’m Dave card and I’m the 2011 winner
of the Alabama State Geographic feet I
live in Hoover which is a suburb of
Birmingham Alabama
and it is on top of Red Mountain looking
on over Birmingham I’m standing at
Vulcan card right now one way I study
for the Geography Bee is drawing and
looking at maps and globes like this one
another way I study is by getting my dad
to call out questions if I could trade
places with any famous explorer or
borobudur I wouldn’t trade places with
Abraham Lincoln
he was a very
good president a very famous one and he
led our country through the Civil War
and inventory what being green means to
my friends and me is recycling whatever
we can and not littering if I had a free
ticket to travel anywhere in the world I
would travel to France I like to see the
Eiffel Tower and learn more about my
family’s French heritage hey do you know
that there’s a part of the Czech
Republic called the student where the
people are actually German speaking
German languages and have a lot of
German heritage when I grow up I want to
be a meteorologist I’ve always found the
weather interesting and always had a
passion for it
