out and I’m in the grocery store
somewhere people say oh what you doing
in the grocery store I think trying to
get some groceries up in this mug you
know they don’t understand that
sometimes I get to watch movies and they
they only want me to watch these real
spiritual movies and stuff but the truth
of the matter is I like those fight
movies the action movies you know where
they got the guns and they’re fighting
in AI and I’m it really does something
from this mess if I’m on the treadmill I
think I’m running from them and chasing
them down and I get right in there you
know and this is weird this is weird cuz
I like those kinds of movies where the
guy just does what the cold-blooded guy
just does whatever needs to be done has
no remorse gets rid of the bad guys and
goes and eats a chicken sandwich oh no
remorse no regret and I think I like
that because in my mind in my mind I’m
like that if in my mind I’m the ruthless
– what’s gotta be done sort of guy let
the chips fall where they may in my mind
I’m like that and the problem though is
my heart
my hand and my heart get into some of
the worst fights you ever saw in your
life my head wants to make a cold
calculated decision and my heart gets in
the way and gives people a second chance
and a third chance and a fourth is you
understand what I’m talking about
and I thought last week we’ve talked
quite a bit about pressure and what it
does to the mind and I don’t know that I
have ever been bombarded with as much
response as I got from you as it seemed
like somebody got some healing and some
breakthrough from some mental pressure
that was going on in their life so I
want to continue down that vein and this
this Sunday I want to talk about my
heart attacks my heart attacks a man
sitting in my heart attacks me and
sometimes it just it just it doesn’t
work with me maybe he goes against me
anybody who really really gets to know
me and many of you out there have the
same testimony I believe that the reason
that God has blessed me to the degree
that he has
has much more to do with my heart than
my head and yet sometimes I tell you the
same thing that’s a blessing is a curse
some of my greatest blessings greatest
annoyance greatest victories greatest
favors greatest strength greatest doors
opened up to me was because of my heart
people sensed it they knew it they
opened up doors they made ways because
of my heart and I got blessed because of
my heart but some of my greatest defeats
and pains and brokenness and weeping in
the middle of the night has come from
the same heart because the problem with
the big heart is you can’t turn it on
and off it just it just is it just
operates it just operates all the time
it operates for you and sometimes it
operates against you and even though you
know something needs to be done or needs
to be said it needs to be cut off it
needs to be cut loose your heart will
have you rolling around at one o’clock
in the morning agonizing over stuff that
other people dismiss without any feeling
without any compassion without any
reservation they won’t right out the
door with it but my heart attacks men
and it’ll make me it it’ll make me go
and and make up with somebody that my
mind wants to be mad at me be whiners at
the house give it up for BeBe Winans in
the house have you ever wanted to be mad
and couldn’t want it to be upset and
couldn’t and and and your mind said
you’re justified you know but but your
heart gets in the way and I found out
when you have a big heart when you have
a big heart it releases great glory and
greater launching and great favor but it
also emits great pain and greater agony
and great suffering and you have a hard
time dealing with issues so we’re going
to drill down into that all my big heart
so I don’t have to explain it to y’all
just look for the person who didn’t say
nothing and check their pocketbook for a
pistol but all you little hollered at me
you know exactly what I’m talking about
to be dealing with things to be
vulnerable because God made you with a
big heart
it’s about capacity I said it’s about
capacity I said it’s about capacity
prophet Jordans in the house give it up
for the man of God I said it’s about
capacity with when you’re when you’re a
10-gallon person and you got a ten
gallon heart and you get tied up with a
pint hearted person it’s about capacity
because you could be fooling with
but you’re still empty because it’s
about capacity everything’s about
capacity what you can handle what you
can take what you can deal with what you
have to give what you can’t endure has
everything to do with capacity when you
have a good heart it often increases
your ability to have great pain because
you have capacity both pro and con so it
and the worst of times all at the same
time because once you open up that big
ol valve to your heart and you start
releasing all of that creativity and all
of that love and all of that into lei
and all of that stuff that breathes the
favor of God in your life
you also open yourself up to woundings
and hurts and bruises and turmoil and
seem like when people find out you’ve
got a big heart they don’t close your
valve they kick you in the head and try
to come on big hard people don’t leave
me out there by myself go to the First
first end in chapter 16 verse 1 through
and it says that the Lord said unto
Samuel how long without mournful song
seeing I have rejected him from reigning

disappointment has nothing to do with
them and everything to do with you
depending upon what you had in mind
alive looks like he’ll be a great king
he’s what I had in mind but the Lord
said I’m the same you look not on his
countenance or on the height of his
stature because I have refused him don’t
go about what you had in mind I have
rejected what you had in mind for the
Lord see if not as a Lancia for man
looketh on the outward appearance but
the Lord looketh on the heart my god
that’s what we want God to do this
morning we want him to look on our
hearts
in some cases to heal them because some
of our hearts are broken and when your
heart is broken
dancing in the spirit don’t fix it I

to God oh and get back in the car is
still broken when your heart is broken
it needs to be healed God says to Dave
at one time wait on the Lord and be of
good courage and I will strengthen your
heart so some of us need our hearts
healed okay some of us need our hearts
filled because I heard even broken it’s
just empty it’s not the people don’t
pour into it but they don’t pour to the
capacity that fills you up and because
of the void is your heart
it leaves place for the enemy now you
know I’m gonna get into your business
you know when you got up this morning I
was gonna get into something you didn’t
want me to talk about but I’m going to

in whatever the condition of our heart

number one do you have a tendency to put

care of other people’s needs and yours
go unfulfilled secretly hoping that

number two we’re doing good with this
test do you always do you always see
good where others are critical do you
always see good where others are
critical I mean it can be the worst
person in the world but you can find
something good in them something good
everybody told you not to fool with

that to that one he did that to the
other one but some kind of way you look
past all the evidence and you can see
good and in some of the most
disturbed people number three are you an
intense person in that whatever you feel

not a phony person if you like somebody
you’re intense about it if you’re upset
with somebody you’re intense about it

do you assume others burdens as if they
were your own and you literally go home
worried other people can pray about it
and reflected and move on about their
business but when it comes to you you go
home sitting up at night traumatize
worried about somebody else’s situation
as if you have no burdens of your own
and sometimes the weight of being who
you are and the weight of caring about
people you love has caused you to be so
weighted down that the person you’re
worried about survives better than you
do
because you took their burden and they
went home free
number five you you you you done real
good on this s do you find it difficult
to share pain worry or loss longer than
others with similar circumstances
meaning everybody gets over it but you
everybody moves on but you but whether
it is pain or worry or loss you carrying
longer than other people and you look at
other people who went through what you
went through and they walk right past it
and went on about their business and
you’re still laying up on a respirator
on life support if it’s grease you’re
grieving person’s been dead ten twelve
years and just feel crying at the sink
and you don’t even want to tell anybody
anymore that you miss it because they’re
tired of hearing you talk about it so
big hard to isolate you because what’s
on your heart you can no longer tell
people because they expect you to
recover like them but if you don’t love
like me you don’t hurt like me
I’ll talk to me somebody I said if you
don’t love and have you ever you big
loving people have you ever ran into
comfort those little loving people and
you thought she was going to need all
types of tools to comfort them have you
walked in the room and they were telling
my head whatever things happen tell you
you find yourself in places you see
where you’re a heart your capacity
your feelings are affecting it we can
have spiritual health and not have
emotional health we can be
intellectually sharp and be emotionally
deficient and they are not the same
thing now when I grew up in church they
put you on an altar for everything if
you have bad breath they put you on the
altar
if you’re at least wooly put your Mauser
I don’t care what it was they put you on
the altar you had a bad hair day the
church mothers will lay you out of the
altar and cover you up of a seat because
they tried to give you spiritual
solutions to every issue in your life
and everything was a demon come out of
her you shopping demon you bitch
suit-wearing devil come out in the name
of Jesus the blood of Jesus is against
you he was a kid you talk about I see
you you’re talking back demon everything
was a demon yeah a strinden demon you
gotta eat demon every everything was a

and nobody’s gonna be walking past the

you know why deep down we all know that
you are not your body so you could pass
your physical and be totally healthy
physically be intellectually so astute
and dynamic that you have an IQ that is
off the chart and be wounded in a place
that has nothing to do with your mind
and nothing to do with your body but it
has everything to do with why you can’t

for you how’s your memories your passage
your pay all of that stuff can be up
under attack in such a way that I don’t
doubt that you’re not saved but you can
be saved and be sick oh it got quieted

can be saved and be sick so all of you
who are looking for a spouse and you
just want to know are they in Christian
because I’ve talked to a whole lot of
Christians and I wouldn’t want to live
with I’ve talked a lot of Christians I
would want to do business with I have
talked to a lot of Christians that are
not safe to love

person your personality was so wilted
that I would rather have somebody with
less degrees and boy
it’s a hard thing God tells socks and
you don’t be looking on the outside man

the king by the outside I’m picking him
according to his heart there is somebody
that got blessings right now that don’t
make any sense while a person like you
would have a blessing like this but
because God looked old your heart he
promoted you make some noise if I’m
talking about you touching neighbor to
say don’t worry about it it’s a hard
thing it’s a hard thing you’ll never get
it by imitating me you’ll never get it
by walking like me you’ll never get it

body come on somebody you prosper in
your heart before you prosper in your
life you’re creative on the inside

everything that we’ll have every
promotion that will happen in your life
will come as a result of your heart I
found a man after my heart I’m gonna
make him King I’m gonna promote his life
his finances his future I’m gonna create
a dynasty out of all of his God’s kids
and his grandkids and his great-great
grandkids are gonna be blessed because
of his heart
you could be hiding the very best part
hiding it because it hurts it hurts to
be present it hurts to be connected
hiding it because if you’re present
people might see that you’re flawed or
broken hiding it because the last time
you exposed it somebody broke it and
they taught you that your stuff was more
valuable than you so you give them the
