Scientists Discover Another Earth | The SHOCKING Truth

peace and finit waters diving deep once
again scientists discover another earth
yippee
can I get a hello there who told you we
were alone huh
astronomers have found a planet they say
is the closest twin to earth we’ve ever
seen
kepler-452b is the smallest planet today
discovered orbiting in the habitable
zone of a g2 type star so take a look at
this artist’s interpretation you could
go skateboarding here who’s up for them
1,400 light-years away 60% larger in
diameter than Earth 1.5 billion years
older than our Sun respect your elders
please thank you very much now look at
the kepler-452b the kepler-186 system
isn’t the universe just fascinating now
the habitable zone is the area around a
star where liquid water could cool on
the surface of an orbiting planet also
called the Goldilocks zone and we’ve got
about 1030 confirmed habitable planets
that’s just awesome that’s just
incredible look at this baby the Kepler
telescope this does all the hard work
while you’re just sitting down how much
does it costs only 550 million don’t
worry about it and Ellen stofan the
chief NASA scientist who says we’re
gonna find extraterrestrial life in the
next decade
