How to Know If You Have ADHD

a D H D we have a lot to talk about
peace and Finnick waters diving deep
once again we are here in the art
gallery whoa breathing in that good ass
prana a tumblr question for once someone
wrote to me saying a woman go
she’s got ADHD and it’s very challenging
certain tasks she wants to stop taking
medication and she wants to know how she
can still become her greatest version
with the label of having ADHD I mean
now I’ve recently found some fascinating
information about ADHD I used to work
with children who had ADHD as a
psychologist working in a school for
many years so I know a lot about it
ADHD is a thirteen billion dollar
industry now one in five children have a
mental health disorder and you know the
most commonly diagnosed one is you
guessed it a DHD yes
now there was a psychologist called
Jerome cagin Harvard psychologists his
work is profound when it comes to ADHD
because he goes into how it’s just a
hoax it doesn’t even exist now you might
think who is this guy
okay they have put him the twenty second
most influential psychologists ever to
exist even higher on the list and Carl
Jung Pavlov he knows what he’s talking
about and his research into
developmental psychology is mind-blowing
his whole life he’s dedicated to this he
looks at children how they develop
in the first four months he said that
20% of babies have skittish responses to
new objects environments people they’re
nervous and he called them high reactive
so later on in life they’re going to be
very anxious and whatnot
40% of babies on that way and they go on
to be not so ruffled they are low
reactives so he goes into how ADHD what
we’re talking about has been blown out
of proportion
okay 6.4 million children have been
diagnosed with ADHD now he says ninety
percent of those children don’t have
abnormal dopamine levels now before I go
into some great solutions because I’ve
got first-hand experience of this he
talked about how there is a major miss
diagnosis and over diagnosis so if a
child says I’m getting bored in class
because ADHD is attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder okay
in the 60s you might have just said
you’re lazy but now they’ll give you
Ritalin Adderall
okay so it’s big business therefore a
lot of people have been misdiagnosed
if a child is just throwing a tantrum
they’ll say you’ve got ADHD but these
slow motion inside and over diagnosed as
well because Big Pharma gives more money
to psychologists psychiatrists to do
more research on ADHD it’s a
self-fulfilling prophecy
if you tell a child you have a mental
illness or disorder then they go on to
believe that and what I’ve seen along my
journey is this that you have to be very
careful where you tell children because
they will end up being that way
now labels he goes in to say how ADHD is
just a label and once you let go of that
label everything becomes a lot better
yes there is something there there is
but a lot of these drugs actually cause
a lot more problems okay so what I found
out is first of all if you want to
unlock your greatest potential because
you say you’ve got ADHD right from his
research Kagan’s research he interviewed
12 to 19 year olds right children and
showed symptoms of anxiety depression
but on a closer inspection only 8% was
that’s a symptom it’s not the course the
cause could be problems at home certain
childhood experiences so you always have
to realize these symptoms are not you
they are a by-product from a condition
which has taken place before okay and I
was working with children day in day out
who had ADHD what did I find
I found this that fun interactive
learning is everything if you have a
child and you tell them that do this
work do that work and they’re not
interested now they’re gonna be noisy
they’re not gonna want to listen to what
the teacher saying and even adults but
what I was doing working in the school
we were making lessons fun interactive
learning calms people down right away so
you have to watch yourself am I making
whatever I’m doing more fun and
interactive to have a better experience
to have a better experience healthy
eating is everything Leedy
elsa the ADHD Research Center in the
Netherlands she talked about how 64% of
people with ADHD actually have a hyper
sensitivity to foods you’re talking
about white sugar white rice sugary
foods msg sodas once you are increasing
the blood sugar level you are increasing
the hyperactivity level within the body
why exciting the nerves so a great
tip seven day vegan challenge leafy
greens okay
leafy greens kale watercress
this is nature’s natural chill pill full
of magnesium calms the nerves now
omega-3s are fantastic if you have a lot
of hyperactivity going on because our
omega-3 is anti-inflammatory therefore
it calms the brain helps you concentrate
and it is found in chia seeds what I was
doing with the children I was working
with was relaxation time meditation has
shown to change the entire structure of
the brain completely and if you know
someone who has ADHD or you have it once
again you have to look into more
relaxation are you being stimulated all
the time by video games or in an
environment which is not helping you
okay so I always used to take the
children out in the park
natural environments and this really
helps you deal with what they call ADHD
and ADHD I found in my experience is
just a label we don’t know what to call
it I think we should call it attention
dialed the higher dimensions I saw that
labeling is terrible we label all the
time you have this you have that I think
everybody’s got something slow motion
we just don’t know what it is yet
if you relay believable you now isolate
that child from the rest of the other
children or you isolate that person from
the rest of those are the people how are
they gonna feel they’re gonna feel like
an outsider different and it now becomes
a self-fulfilling prophecy so they end
up even being more hyperactive because
you’ve told them that’s that’s what you
have okay so a great way to deal with it
is not to label yourself as having
something and realize that like again
the great psychologist cagin was saying
in the 60s he went in to say how he used
to stutter along and then his mother
told him how you just think so fast okay
he took that as a compliment
okay so we have to change how we see
mental health and realize that people
just need to be seen as unique rather
than different and then just say feel so
good to be alive baby can I get a hello
breathing in that good ass prana baby
infinite waters diving deep once again stay well stay healthy peace you
