I was watching and learning
From the original and the origin of man
Especially the people of the United States
Land of the brave and liberators and the place I am proud of being a national
I see a separate country because of hatred and class
Police brutality, racism and violence
For example but not limited to
The media spends hours and hours
To report on bad conditions in the country
“Texas is not the only one threatened tonight”
Most of us blame the media, but I do not know why
Even though we chose to stick ourselves to watching the TV as a cyclist
Local news and social media
The voice of despair, fear and judgment became
Moreover, in our various differences as human beings
We have created classifications, democracy, categories or groups
We have found ways not to diverge
We found only one way to unite
Now it seems that all these groups have narrowed up on each other
Perhaps for a good reason you do not understand us
You will never understand us because you are not like us
That is the mentality
But, as I have seen, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and Louisiana
And how quickly relief efforts are being conducted
Suddenly the talk turned from hatred and division
To support and unity
Strangers gathered together
To find survivors and those stranded in flooded cities
Helicopters, pilots and crews fly for long hours
To save hundreds if not thousands of people
Did anyone care if the pilot was a brown, democratic female?
The swimmer brought a US-Japanese Republican savior
To save the life of a man like me and white?
Of course no one cared about it!
Who really cares about these simple differences when someone’s life is at stake?
Everyone will accept the help and thank God that’s what happened
Because in us all we are, when I say all of them
I mean everyone with a heart
Anyone who does blood in his veins knows what is really important
Regardless of his or her level of education or criminal record
Or origin or religion, we all know what deserves attention
So the only question in my mind
Is this the only way to learn how to love each other?
When disasters occur? Is suffering imminent?
When our physical life becomes in danger?
When violent hurricanes cover mass destruction in the Midwest?
When hurricanes pass through all countries destroying everything on their way?
Or when earthquakes break the very ground we walk on?
What about the time of peace and serenity?
Who makes us forget that we are all involved in this universe?
We share the same planet and air
And with a vibrant life force in our depths
We instinctively fight with enthusiasm for what we find valuable
We are fighting for and defending peace
But we just do not know how to live in peace
I will tell you why
When any natural disaster occurs
When random shooting occurs
When wars erupt between nations
When your peace threatens someone or something
We will put our differences aside to fight a common enemy
The enemy may be a flood or a disaster caused by a hurricane
Or the corruption of any government or gangs
Hate groups, political parties or even your neighbor
The existence of a common enemy motivates the internal warrior for peace and unity
We will fight until the last shaft
So that our common enemy will not be a threat to us
Until peace is achieved
But what will happen if we no longer have a clear common enemy?
What will happen when nothing threatens our peace?
I will tell you what will happen
Our common enemy differences will become
Do you know all these groups in which we have divided ourselves?
That is our common enemy
Liberals, conservatives, gays, blacks and whites
Latin Americans, Muslims and Christians
Rich and poor, men, women and opium
Name it!
Our internal peace fighter has something to fight for
That confident voice within us is ready to fight again
Well here’s the end, my friends: we still miss the common enemy
I am here to introduce you to our eternal common destiny
The enemy that our internal peace fighter must fight
The real purpose of our voice is confident
The common enemy that can unite us to fight for our origin, the human origin
Let us fight together and put aside our simple differences
Now this enemy can not be detected as a clear signal
This enemy can not be touched by weapons
This enemy can not be harmed or defeated by physical attack
There is no form of policy that affects this enemy
This enemy lives inside and inside you
Some call him evil and others call him Satan and others call him the thief
It is the voice of doubt, which constantly lets you down, that inner resistance
The voice of fear
This is our common enemy and this is our struggle
The true enemy of our inner warrior for peace resides within you and within
When you see a police officer beating an innocent man, he knows he is in conflict
This was not the dream of his childhood
When news reports show a section of a mother hitting her child, she is in conflict
When you see a crowd gathered in the name of hatred and division, they are in conflict
They lose control of this internal conflict and seek help
When humans begin to direct their internal conflict abroad, this is because we are losing control
Then they will fight the wrong war, and fight the wrong enemy
We wear the same uniform, and fight with the enemy
The enemy of love and the enemy of peace and hope and light and life
The enemy of unity
The sound that breathes the split
We are all in a constant battle within us
The type of battle may vary between us
But I am here to tell you that we share the same enemy
This enemy has been denied for centuries
Hiding in us and eager to divide us
Through our differences and whispers of our ideas and our minds in words that violate our instinct
And attack our hopes in an ideal world with a faint whisper or a high noise of doubt
Little by little we even divided this enemy
Well, guess what? Not anymore!
This enemy works alone
It is only one voice that produces this fear, division and hatred
We can unify and unleash the power of the loud (powerful)
There is only one voice attacking us from within
While we have millions of votes available abroad to talk to us
To support both of us when we are attacked
When we get weak
When we ask ourselves and wonder about our purpose
We know how to do it, we have already done it
We can talk about life, hope and courage
Unity and empathy with each other
Our words bear the force of creation
Let us create a truly free world
Loving, committed and courageous
Start the job from home with your wife, your children or your spouse
Broadcast this renewed hope in your workplace and bus station
At the grocery store and the bank
Wherever you have analyzed, accompany the voice of hope with you
The pain of failure is no greater than the pleasure of forming a prosperous society
