hey guys here is my zombie apocalypse
survival helmet I decided to go the
extra mile and try and make this a
little bit more professional as of right
now I have all the components I just
wanted to do some other things and I’ll
show you real quick I got this infrared
flashlight I’m gonna get another one try
and post them maybe on each side this is
just for aesthetics and just kind of
looks cool it doesn’t actually give you
the ability to breathe known toxic areas
or anything but this is just a little
addition just to kind of give it some
intimidating looks and if you guys want
I’ll post a separate tutorial on how to
make that because it is a little bit
complicated but let me know what you
guys think of that this is a dual camera
infrared DVR I’m going to turn it on
real quick show you basically the
concept is you have these different
cameras that can rotate and I’m going to
be able to see behind me above me pretty
much any area that I would like to and
because it’s infrared I’m going to
extend this wire here and put it sort of
in the view so I can look maybe up into
the corner and see I’ll give you some
more visual kits in case someone tries
to sneak up on me or whatever so gives
you some options and the only problem
that I’ve run into is some of the cables
are a little bit complicated the one the
white one that goes to the monitor is a
20 pin a cable ribbon cable and I found
the extension now I don’t know if I can
just layer lay the two on top of each
other and extend it because I found an
extension cable but the other part that
I cannot find which is kind of
frustrating I don’t know if they sell
this or if I’d have to solder it all
individually is these little micro
ribbon cables for the cameras on each
side they’re 15 pin and the pitch is
like 0.5
and I think the pitch on this is one
millimeter I could be wrong this might
be 0.5 and this might be like nothing
because it’s just ridiculously um tiny
little wires that I don’t even want to
mess with because I know I’ll break but
I don’t know if you guys know of any
extension cables for these type this is
basically I’m going to turn it off real
quick so okay so I a short something but
basically you have this kind of setup
and it goes to this little motherboard
here and then you have obviously I’d
have to extend the power supply to the
infrared LEDs there’s four on each
camera which is nyet which is kind of
cool
and pretty they’re pretty bright so it
does its job trying to get this back on
before I close it so yep that’s how that
goes
and yeah and then the last is a voice
changer that you could use to hide your
identity or intimidate the enemy or
whatever basically has its own power
supply and there’s different voices so
this is like a robot of course I think
there’s eight well hello so it’s just a
normal voice hello and bring out the
it’s kind of like a deeper new normal
voice then this is like the terrorists
of the border
hello I will refer back to the normal
voice I don’t know how many that was
but it gets pretty loud and I know
it’s kind of neat all these different
components you guys think of anything
else I could add to it maybe like a
laser I probably could do a blue laser
somewhere like maybe in here or coming
out of these holes I don’t know I’m not
really that great with electrical
components but I can probably find it
online and figure it out so let me know
what you guys think I was thinking of
calling it the helmet like h-e-l-l-o
it’s like when all gives the hell
you break this thing out and hopefully
