hey everyone today I’ll be showing you
my homemade electric baseball bat in my
opinion this is one of the most badass
home self-defense weapons ever made this
is a combination of an extremely durable
polypropylene bat and a powerful stun
gun the inspiration for this project
came from a lot of different sources I
think that this design is completely
original but I definitely had a few
different shows and movies in mind such
as Star Wars The Force awakens where the
storm trooper has that electric baton
like it’s a riot baton also you have
Dead Rising and those sort of mods and
Dead Island definitely Fallout inspired
as well as The Walking Dead I’m sure a
lot of you know negan and his baseball
bat with the barbed wire well this is
like that taken to a whole new level
it’s like on steroids you have this
really powerful aluminum cage that first
of all protects the integrity of the bat
because it’s made out of polypropylene
so it’s durable but it’s also got that
flex so it’s not going to just break
like a normal baseball bat would so you
have like pressure spikes here on the
side because these are screws that have
been put into the bat itself there’s
some screw portions that are inside that
allow you to thread it in and then this
is completely water jet now I normally
wouldn’t have access to a water jet if
it wasn’t for having access to the tech
shop facilities this would not have come
to life so I was able to drill using
their drill press all these holes I was
able to use their vice to basically hold
this down after it was water jet that
process is really amazing this is
actually isolated so you have basically
the electrodes of the stun gun that have
been elongated there is some very high
voltage wire which is what you can see
there I think it’s a silicon-based as
the insulator 3d printed switch I even
made a
little encasing for the button all the
electronics are housed inside of this
little area I’m going to turn this off
the portion here which is kind of more
of an impact weapon now if I wanted to
add more weight to this I think that I
came up with a little design that’s kind
of interesting
you could even thread archery heads into
this if you wanted to be a spiked bat
for like the zombie apocalypse but I
also have more of these washers here and
some spacers so if I want to build up
any of these I just would unscrew them
and add some more weight with a washer a
little lock washer in between and that’s
going to basically add weight wherever
you want so you can customize this
completely however you like and I just
kept it like this because it’s kind of
in its normal minimalist way and if you
add too much weight it’s going to be
really difficult to recover from a swing
especially if you’re trying to kill a
zombie wouldn’t it be amazing to go
after someone with this and if they’re
strong like thug just up to no good and
they go and grab the bat well you have a
second weapon to basically fight them
off it’s pretty cool so if you were to
drop this you have a nice little light
in the dark to help you find it and pick
it up this was definitely like a
futuristic just ridiculous overload of
power I don’t really have any
expectations for this but I know that if
there was ever an emergency where
something happened where somebody tried
to break into my home I feel like okay
this is going to be my go-to weapon
because there’s no actual bladed edge to
do lethal damage but it’s still really
intimidating let’s say a thief tries
breaking into your house and it’s dark
and all I see is this glowing blue light
and like I would bolt out of there
immediately just hearing the sound of a
stun gun because it’s pretty terrorizing
it’s just it’s just a really nasty and
robust sound and you have this like
arcing
like a sci-fi movie so I’m really really
excited to unveil this I work very hard
on the designs also trying to think out
how everything was going to be put
together it’s a lot of work to try and
go from a concept that doesn’t exist
there’s really nothing to go off of so
you have to be creative and then you
have to overcome the obstacles basically
trailblazing through the idea itself now
the concept isn’t extremely advanced
I’ll give you that
and I don’t want to take too much credit
but most of the electronics are there I
just use some tape to kind of keep it
nice and organized it only runs on two
of these batteries these are actually
three point seven volt ultra fire
batteries and they’re running at twelve
hundred milliamps so these give you a
decent amount of power
I could probably beef this up to some
larger batteries but I was really trying
to conserve on space and you can see I
pretty much took advantage of almost
everything there’s just nothing really
left unless you want to make this a
little bit bulky and I’m sure a lot of
people are going to complain and say
that this is annoying
but this is a prototype I’m not an
engineer so when I go to tech shop I’m
kind of there just to kind of teach
myself
there’s instructors that are helpful but
really you have to bring your own
creativity and this allows me to
completely bring it to life and I really
hope that you guys are inspired by this
and you like these types of gadgets and
keep in mind that I have no interest to
harm anyone
I even have taken the persona of a
superhero on my youtube channel because
I want to show that I’m here for good I
want to inspire people to think of new
ideas and to be pioneers in their own
aspect on completely new concepts I
think that by showing these really cool
gadgets helps some younger people and
maybe some older ones come up with new
ideas of their own and maybe inspires
them to try and make their own creations
it definitely takes a lot of funding and
time to focus on making me
types of designs I really do enjoy it I
think I get a lot of satisfaction out of
going from just a concept in my head a
what-if scenario and then within a
couple weeks you have that exact replica
that you maybe thought up in your mind
or something very similar that’s sitting
right in front of you and to potentially
protect someone’s life or your own from
danger is an added bonus that’s really
cool I guess I should start learning how
to actually use these gadgets in a
self-defense scenario so I’m looking to
maybe talk to a couple people who are
vigilantes there’s a guy in New York his
name is dark Guardian he’s actually one
of the upcoming leaders of the guardian
angels which is like activists Night
Watch group they help the communities I
think it’s a unique flavor for a channel
on YouTube because I feel like today a
lot of things are clickbait and it’s
just about trying to get you to just
like and I mean that’s really great but
at the same time I want to leave a
legacy and impact on the people who
watch my videos and I don’t want people
to doubt themselves because that’s a
very self-destructive mindset I want
them to believe that there is
possibilities even if they don’t
necessarily have the education but they
have a very strong will and desire to
actually get that project done and
that’s kind of where tech shop comes in
to help get your projects off the ground
and just started it’s really an
interesting process when you go there
and you get to meet some other people
who are interested investing their time
in this maker mindset

majority of the parts can be made at
TechShop however these 3d printed
portions are my own design so I’ll be

entrepreneur is usually you have one
product that you’re constantly pushing
and you’re trying to sell and I don’t
have the manpower and the energy to do
that it would just completely burn me
out and it would make me have to quit
YouTube altogether so I have a really
amazing and unique system going here
where I can make something and hopefully
the excitement and interest from the
public who are the viewers will help pay
for the cost and my own living expenses
so when you share this video it really
helps me basically earn a living and
continue what I’m doing and when you
like and comment and all that stuff I’m
not being needy I’m just looking for
some feedback and that really helps
motivate me to say wow people are liking
this people are getting engaged they’re
interested they want to ask questions
they want to know more they really like
this and that says well you need to do
this more it gives you me more energy
it’s like I’m feeding off of your
excitement in a good way that’s why I
asked you guys to share and all that
it’s it’s for me to continue what I’m
doing this is a very difficult process
and it’s very difficult on me because
I’m technically self-employed right now
I have to be my own boss which means I
have to kick my own ass if I’m getting
lazy kind of becoming a problem where I
am hard on myself because I want to
present the best product I wouldn’t want
to have it any other way because being
self-employed is wonderful but you
really have to be disciplined which is
the things that I’m working on right now
and being so scatterbrained and I do
have like some form of attention deficit
I have a million ideas going but I don’t
have the time to actually bring them to
fruition plus if I did I wouldn’t have
the money to just go and frivolous lis
spend on all the materials because sheet
metal is expensive all these components
electrical components are very expensive
so please support my channel as much as
possible I am working with tech shop and
trying to build out their name because I
have really been changed by the
abilities they have basically granted me
through the tools that they give me
access to it also the ability to learn
from their instructors and the classes
that they offer so I’m not just pitching
it for the fact I’m trying to share the
excitement and joy that I’ve gotten from
being there with you so you can
experience the same thing if that makes
sense please take that to heart I really

with the Suicide Squad I was going to
have a cosplay girl come and like
pretend to be Harley Quinn and basically
I would be like the other sort of
up-and-coming superhero who would help
her make her gadgets more powerful so
that she could stand up to the bad guys
so that was the idea but a lot of things
fell through with a couple other people
I was working with they moved and it
just didn’t actually work out I think
that this is an opportunity right now
with some different games that are
coming out another thing that I want to
add is when I make something I feel like
my audience needs to be a little bit
more engaged if that’s okay so one of
the things you can do is go and notify
yourself whenever I upload this helps me
so much you have no idea because of the
algorithm on YouTube it’s basically
trying to figure out how engaged the
audience is and they pretty much make
that your selling point for how much
they’re going to promote you on the
YouTube site so the more people that
flood and rush to my video when it first
releases the more YouTube’s going to say
hey this is trending let’s put it on the
front page or this is really something
that’s promising for us so sign up for
the notification squad those guys and
gals are amazing I really appreciate

upload on Fridays and Thursdays or the
ideal day and big shout out to tech shop
