Tutorial Homemade Distraction Grenade “Monkey Bomb” / “Distraction Drone”

[Music]
hey everyone here’s a quick and easy
tutorial on how to make the homemade
distraction grenade first you want to
pick up a few parts online you’ll need a
music music z12 bluetooth speaker a
redline laser module and a microSD card
next head over to a hardware store and
pick up a few parts right here you have
the armored shell that’s gonna help
protect your grenade when you toss it
it’s a plum quick buy furnco fitting
furnco is fer and co and the part number
is three zero zero one – two – then
you’ll want some velcro straps and two
7/16 inch rubber grommets I got mine an
assortment pack I’ll show you some more
exact dimensions right here this is the
one that I used and last you will need a
23 64th inch drill bit next I’ll go over
the electronics portion of this build
here I’ll be showing you how to
disassemble the Bluetooth speaker and
install the Red Line laser module this
is actually really simple job basically
you only have to connect two wires so a
soldering iron isn’t a hundred percent
necessary but I would definitely
recommend it because this thing’s
actually built very inexpensively so
when you’re disassembling it you might
remove a couple of the key components
you can try taping it back on but
soldering iron is always gonna win it’s
going to be a much more solid connection
and a lot less headache in the future
I’m using the iso tip quick charge was
actually given to me by a company called
Sena C’s incorporated it’s pretty neat
it’s got all these little extra tips
that you can buy depending on your job
if it’s more intricate like you have a
really small soldering joint you can use
this really thin one like a needle and
it comes with this little charge dock
which is nice so
go a little light on it to definitely
makes life a lot easier when you don’t
have to deal with all these wires
getting in the way and now I’ll show you
guys the disassembling portion and
installation remove the micro SD card
make sure that you don’t lose this then
you’re gonna be disassembling your
Bluetooth speaker it’s very simple
because it’s held together with hot glue
so just flip it upside down and rock its
back and forth and eventually will come
apart
and be very careful that you don’t just
rip it apart because these little wires
are not very securely fastened to the
circuit board and if you don’t have a
soldering iron this could be a nightmare
you can see here the circuit board you
have these two screws here you’re going
to remove them using a small Phillips
head screwdriver and then you will have
this little piece of plastic sort of
sticking out the bottom just gonna pop
that out with your thumb and you’re
gonna be using the 23 64th inch drill
bit to enlarge the hole so that you can
securely fasten the redline laser module
you’re just going to pop it in there and
can use your little rubber grommets to
create a little bumper and a nice little
base so that doesn’t wiggle around too
much but overall it’s going to be a
pretty snug fit you might even need some
sandpaper or a file to hold it in there
more securely and you’re just gonna take
the wires and just tuck them around
there’s a little space here where you
can put the wires through from the laser
and then you’re gonna tin your wires
which is just basically way of saying
you’re going to be putting a little bit
of solder on them and you might want to
elongate them see how they’re silver
it’s called tinning so 10 your wires and
if you don’t have a soldering iron you
can just probably just wrap them or
found but your salt your soldering
points are you can see here it says SP
plus and it’s kind of hard to see there
but it says SP – so just follow the same
wires that are basically connected to
your speaker blacks gonna go to black
Reds gonna go to red as your solid
positive and negative and that’s called
wiring and parallel so that means the
same amount of power that is being
applied to the speaker is going to be
applied to your laser as well which is
how you get that synchronized strobing
effect to reassemble it you just pop
this little plastic thing back in the
battery back
line up the buttons
there yeah
and you just pop in your microSD card
[Music]
now that we have it fully assembled
let’s give their chests and you can
cycle through the sounds with the
buttons on the side another cool feature
right here you have your headphone jack
now it becomes a landmine you set this
up you can attach it to a tree or an
anchor point when someone walks by so
now you know that they have gone into
your area or whatever scenario you set
up for this thing so there’s tons of
customization and I think this is a
pretty fun useful tool you guys could
have a lot of fun with let me know what
you think in the comments below if you
guys want to help me out definitely like
this video and share it on your social
media and as always thanks for watching
you
