hey everyone Paramount Pictures
commissioned me to build a zombie
killing weapon made from the parts found
at the hardware store just like the
characters from the movie Scouts guide
to the zombie apocalypse to promote the
movie coming out today on digital HD I
watched the movie and thought it was
pretty funny there’s a link in the
description where you can download the
movie here’s my zombie killing invention
a stabber ATAR it’s pretty powerful and
badass with the duality of two weapons a
spear and a jackhammer not many zombies
could withstand this killing machine
it runs on compressed air and is
portable with this take so you can
effectively maul through zombie hordes
wherever you go now I’ll show you the
parts I use to build it we have a
one-inch tee that connects to a 1 inch
to 1/2 introducer also need a second one
of those this is a half inch by 36 inch
Pole and then you’ll want to finish that
off by buying a half inch end cap
an air hammer rated at 90 psi seven-inch
long
chisel bit set wouldn’t be using this
nice pointy one to break in zombie scale
and scramble their brain a co2 regulator
that runs 0 to 125 psi also the nice
gauge on it runs off of a paintball tank
and has this on/off valve so you can
power our pneumatic air hammer 25 feet
of pneumatic hose ready to at least 90
psi this one’s actually rated at 200 so
we’re definitely in the safe zone we
don’t want to have any malfunctions when
we’re fighting zombies also make sure
that both ends have 1/4 inch NPT male
threads 20 feet of graded vinyl tubing
this is rated at 250 psi and has an
inner diameter of 1/4 inch fourth inch
full port ball valve 1/4 inch to fourth
inch coupler
2/4 inch hose repair kits inside of each
kit you’ll find a hose barb with 1/4
inch NPT male thread you’ll need 2 of
these in total in the end you’ll
basically just want to create something
like this hope it’s not too complicated
but you’re going to take both of your
male threaded ends and you’re going to
stick the hose barb
into your hose I cut this to about 4 and
a half feet and then I wanted to make
sure that this has a really tight seal
so I did use four of these small hose
clamps
so I’ll and I’ll just make sure that
this hose barb fits into the vinyl
tubing that you use as long as it’s the
right pressure rate and you shouldn’t
have any problems as long as it’s over
90 psi and then you want to make sure
that this end piece here is 1/4 inch NPT
male thread PTFE thread seal tape 1/8
inch survival hunting knife 1 and 1/2
inch steel conduit pipe hangers 5/16
nuts and bolts
a multi-bit screwdriver pipe wrench and
two Crescent wrenches now it’s time to
put it all together first connect all of
your black steel pipe
and make sure to use a pipe wrench
tighten everything down upon first
opening the box with your hammer you’re
going to notice that there’s a little
plug here you need to add some machine
oil to help lubricate the internal parts
I’ve already done so then we take your
steel pipe after everything has been
tightened with a pipe wrench and you can
see these two threads here you just take
your air hammer and screw it into the
top of this tea
and it should have a nice fairly firm
lock into these threads
next take your 1 inch to half inch
reducer and use some of this sealant
tape
she’s gonna help make thread seal just a
little bit tighter more secure
now you have your three inch compression
spring your seven inch chisel
brain-scrambling
mind you like this
and just straight into your HT
see I’ve also added some tape here just
to make a secure fit
so far so good so at this point you have
this fully tightened down these two you
can leave loose just make sure that
they’re on there you don’t really need
to tighten this down to very end take
some of the seal tape add it to your
threads add it to your air hammer I’m
gonna tighten down with a wrench
I just want to go in a little more
in-depth on how I connected the steel
conduit pipe hangers so you have three
of them obviously they’re number four on
top I added these 5/16 bolts with a lock
washer do that before you put these on
because you’re gonna be missing these a
little bit and for this one
specifically I wanted to show you that I
have this little bolt here pinching the
trigger down that’s locked in place that
when we throw the switch the ball valve
the air intake it’s going to run the
machine so it’s nicely simple you don’t
have to pull the trigger from up here
it’s going to be done nice and safely
away from the zombies so that you can
hack and slash away and have this thing
running doing its job then on the top
here I did modify this portion here
slightly just because I wanted this to
sit a little bit straighter because you
can see I cut this little beveled edge
there I just used a file and I also
filed this portion here on the top just
filed backwards using this circular
so that this would seat back a little
bit farther you can see how it goes back
and forth a little bit of room for it to
slide back that way see it’s much nicer
and it looks cool as well both straight
to the nurse part so which one gave you
guys a better understanding is that
let’s go once you have this tightened
down and air tight you want to make sure
that you give it a test before you start
our next step so here you can see our
gauge we’re going to bring this up to 90
psi
and you can see it’s very well oiled
that’s disgusting
now in the parts list I showed you guys
how to combine the 20-foot braided vinyl
tube with your hose clamps hose bars
with the fourth inch NPT male connector
so now you got to coil it all the way
down and then loop it up to your ball
valve and then you have your coupler
right here which you can see underneath
the black electrical tape and then again
you have your two hose clamps
which is you can pretty much make that
out you guys just visualize and then you
run your hose back down to co2 tank
that’s pretty much it
now we just want to connect our custom
length hose to the regulator bring it up
to 90 psi and you can see we’re good
right there right about at 90 now make
sure that this is standing straight up
because otherwise it’s going to shoot
out like dry ice and it can blow your
you’re like air pressure regulators and
all that stuff so now we’ll throw the
switch
that is so satisfying now as if this
thing isn’t deadly enough we’re going to
attach our 8-inch survival hunting knife
how might you ask well put this into a
vise you can use your pipe wrench to
screw this portion off you don’t eat
then we use your half tighten portions
here as well as some wok washers
regular washing
screw them all together now we have the
tighten down spearhead oh man is that
sexy kind of looks like a frickin shark
or something I don’t know but turn it on
not only like 40 psi now you’ll see me
in my final form I think I’m lost
here we go guys we have the
zombie-killing weapon it’s combination
of a spear and a jackhammer it’s pretty
badass I call it the stab Raider so this
is going to be smashing right into the
zombie brain scrambling it up and if
that runs out we can always thrust and
slice zombies don’t stand a chance let’s
see what this baby can do
I don’t think I was singing too hard but
it seems like the 90 psi from the air
hammer added some extra kick
maybe starting off with cinderblocks
working the best idea let’s try
something a little bit more
how bad
thanks for watching everyone if you
enjoyed this build please leave it a
like and share it around the design is
completely original you will find
anything else like it it’s definitely a
challenge building something that looks
good and actually works I spent
countless hours working with the
hardware to get it working properly it’s
a miracle that this air hammer attaches
securely to the one-inch tee and I’m
satisfied with the end result please
leave a comment letting me know what you
think now obviously I realized that it’s
loud and going to attract a lot of
attention but you still have the duality
of a spike and sphere head to take out
zombies personally I would turn this on
when I really need some extra power to
muscle through zombie board probably in
an enclosed area a big thanks to
Paramount Pictures for sponsoring this

now available in digital HD so that you
