Punch Activated TASER Electrocutioner Gauntlet / Avatar Equalist Glove – w/ BoXZY

everyone so this is my homemade shot
garlotte it works like this you have a
master switch here that turns on the
power and then you’re fine switch is
located here on this plate you can
remove this and add it closer to your
thumb all this materials here is
compatible with velcro so it’s really
nice for adding and removing different
things and you press this button pretty
freakin awesome you have for striking
portions and this switch design is
actually very similar to captain injury
he actually sent me his file so a little
bit of a collaboration on this project
so shout out to him there’s still a lot
of other improvements that I’d like to
make but I think that this is a really
awesome first prototype could not have
done this without the help of HACC
Pittsburgh so thanks so much to them I
hope that you will comment below on
other gadgets do you think I should make
and I hope you consider liking this
video and sharing with your friends
because I spent a ridiculous amount of
time planning and assembling this thing
all from scratch if you’re new to this
channel welcome please subscribe for
more

so these are the pieces that captain
intrigue shared with me they’re actually
the STL files and I was able to print
them on my own printer so that’s really
cool if you have the right tools you can
just share your files and collaborate
from almost anywhere so go and check out
captain intrigues channel it’s called a
superhero armory I highly recommend that
you subscribe I believe he’s working on
some new armor and one of my favorite
projects that he’s released so far is
actually his helmet which combines a
voice changer night vision and
supersonic hearing check this out
I am captain so this right here is what
I’m calling a strike plate and you also
have big strike contacts both were
created in a program called fusion 360
and then we 3d printed and CNC milled
all these parts

then you have these other pieces which
are basically like insulators they go
inside and underneath of this plate and
pretty much pinch the wire and then the
other wire goes and touches on to this
little screw here and that’s how you get
the arc gap because it’s basically being
insulated between this little portion
right here and there are two modules
that are boosting the voltage so you’re
having both these sides running
individually so for some reason one of
them fails you have another strike
portion and it’s just more surface area
for you to land that punch for the bad
guy and it will arc across all four it
just has a tendency because these are a
little bit closed pretty nice and then
this would go over top of it the
majority of this build is made out of
ABS plastic I designed all these pieces
within a program called fusion 360 we
then converted it to a DXF sent it to a
program called easel then exported the
g-code to a SD card uploaded to the
computer at hack Pittsburgh and then cut
all these pieces out yeah it was not a
very easy process but I will never
forget it and so if I ever want to make
anything out of this material again it’s
going to be a breeze I chose it because
it is both durable and flexible but it’s
still impact resistant because just the
way it’s actually formed and so to get
this convex shape we just heat it up
with a heat gun and then set over top of
a cardboard tube keep in mind those
things get ridiculously hot so you’ll
need to work gloves but in the end I
think this looks pretty good and the
other side is this little switch here
and I know it’s crazy impressive looking
under the hood you have one battery
which
actually more than enough to power these
two voltage boosters when you press the
button down here it basically sends
voltage to these wires it’s been split
down to separate wires that then feed
into each separate probe and so you it
basically could have two arcing portions
at once which is nice because if you
were to punch something it’s going to
basically be pumping a lot more voltage
into it depending on the amount of
surface area that you’re covering this
is a 3.7 volts and it is more than
enough one of these ultra fire batteries
not the best quality but hey I like the
color so I’ve been continuing to use
them first of all huge thanks to some of
the members at HACC Pittsburgh who
helped me with this it’s not like you go
there and pay for their assistance and
their consultation
it is like them being nice and being
interested in your project and wanting
to help you get to your desired goal so
thank you so much majority of this stuff
I understood to an extent like which
hardware parts to buy but programming
the microcontroller in getting it to
operate with the relay an accelerometer
was almost none of my doing so check
them out if you’re in Pittsburgh you
will learn so much and you’ll make
amazing things if you have the skills
and the tools to do so so here we have a
custom 3d printed project enclosure it’s
made out of ABS plastic and it’s covered
with this carbon fiber vinyl just for
looks inside we have some velcro holding
some of the pieces nice and secure
inside it’s like a heavy duty velcro and
then we have this 9-volt battery clip
which was originally used to power this
microcontroller now the issue that I ran
into is there wasn’t enough
frig that was being put out after it
goes through this buck converter now
this is basically limiting the voltage
the nine volts down to between three and
five volts so that you can actually run
everything but there wasn’t enough power
or amperage as well I think that was
going to this relay the way this works
you have this which is like a computer
it’s called a microcontroller it’s
reading the data from your accelerometer
and a certain velocity it will actually
turn on the relay which is basically
like an electronic switch that turns the
stun gun on the fist on and off so you’d
be able to punch there be a delay it
would then turn on the shock and then it
would turn off automatically after you
basically program is certain duration so
you want to go for two seconds that’s
fine or whatever you want so I actually
have this thing powered via USB and one
of these little modules here I think
that works out perfectly fine for this
prototype although it would be better
off everything was contained within this
module and having the 9-volt batteries a
little bit more mobile but having this
connected allows you to customize and
tweak it while it’s still in its early
phase now plums I ran into I had a lot
of electromagnetic interference from the
actual shocking of this gauntlet it’s
almost like an EMP gauntlet it’s
ridiculous it was disrupting my phone it
was disrupting this relay and I think it
was mostly disrupting this accelerometer
and the board because this actually got
fried shortly before I was going to show
everything when I had it working almost
completely flawless and something
happened I don’t know if I over powered
it somehow or what it was or maybe I’m
just using not the best brand of a
microcontroller since it’s like a
knockoff but still really annoying so
sorry I can’t get that to you this week
but there is a ton of ways that we can
upgrade this thing and I think I know
what I need to do to make this work now
here we have a side-by-side comparison
of the stun gauntlet or shock gauntlet
and
stone glove if you’re not familiar with
this the really awesome video it came
out with this a couple years back
it’s essentially a Taser built into a
glove and you have the lecturers running
down and into the palm of this now if we
were to combine the two that would be
very similar to the design that you see
here unfortunately this is a left-handed
glove but I guess this could also work
this is ambidextrous I would just have
to move the switch to the other side
something like that this gives me an
opportunity to actually go back and
upgrade this
now that I have 3d printing under my
belts I can create a much nicer housing
and enclosure for this before I had to
go to the hardware store and look for
like different parts that just happen to
look like what I was working for whereas
now I can build everything exactly the
dimensions that I need and that is
really awesome asset that I have to
utilize so really excited that I got
into 3d printing now this glove is kind
of the second generation of this one
here you can see it’s got a little bit
more black and I think it looks nice
especially with this there’s eventually
going to be some blue lights shining
from underneath this little compartment
and I’m going to go ahead and show you
how you would put this on so first you’d
wear a glove and then this is actually
the arm brace from the Assassin’s Creed
hidden dart gun version 2 it protects
your hand from bowing if you were going
to throw a punch and usually your wrist
can sort of jolt and you can spray in
that so it’s nice you actually have a
little bit of a support this will
actually strengthen your punches or at
least I believe so it might limit your
mobility slightly but it’s like having a
little bit of arm rest cloth armor but
still we’re going to be adding this
thing press it into here while pulling
on these straps and then there’s a
little velcro piece now there’s actually
two pieces here as you can see I had the
original plate and then I cut out out of
the AVS plastic another sheet I
cut out sort of this pattern now it goes
underneath the actual piece and then I
use these bolts to connect it to the
actual knuckle portion like I said this
is just for demonstration now what do
you think about this it kind of reminds
me of like a triceratops I know it’s not
the coolest were most accurate to what
you’d actually see from the game or from
the concept from Batman but it looks
like he’s using some sort of urethane
rubber that’s flexible and I don’t have
access or know really how to use that
type of material so I’m just doing the
best that I can with this and I still
think it’s a pretty cool design it
actually might be better because all of
the attacks that are going to be going
towards your hand are going to be
glancing and the kind of plates nicely
the way it sort of connects like so now
I know that it’s bulky but factor in
that you have a pretty decent amount of
armor here and I’ll actually on the
wrist portion this is actually metal so
you have a considerable amount of armor
and like I said prototype I would love
for you to leave a comment and how this
can be improved what are some areas that
you like some things you don’t like and
actually I feel like putting on this and
just marveling at my creations so here
we have the Iron Man 3 stun glove and
the Batman shock gullet now
unfortunately the batteries in this have
completely died they are no longer
rechargeable but that’s okay like I said
I know how these work and I have the
original module that boosts the voltage
so realistically speaking I can just
reverse engineer this and make it way
better and now that I have a 3d printer
can make everything customized and
really awesome so leave a comment below
I’m sure you guys want me to do
everything but keep in mind I definitely
need to be conscious of the amount of
time that I spend on a project and if I
do something and then it doesn’t go
viral or if it doesn’t get enough views
then it’s just like a waste of time and
it just kills the energy that I want to
put forth and really to drive and make
more videos for this YouTube channel so
really cool now imagine if I had built
one of these for both arms and I have
the same ability basically just swapping
over and combining how awesome would
that be now you’ll notice I did put some
bigger spikes here on the fingertips I
don’t know what do you guys think do you
like that do you think it’s overkill so
this relay board is really cool because
actually four in total and I’m only
using one which means I have three more
to add all sorts of upgrades and
modifications I’d really love to hear
what you have to say in the comments
below
different types of gadgets maybe that I
already have or that you think I should
create and modify and integrate into
this existing platform keep in mind I
also have the YN z axis to still program
different sort of motion commands to
control those gadgets in themselves even
though this is completely homey it’s
still really certain it’s on there not
going anywhere awesome so I’m really
pumped I want to know what do you think
I should do with this I was thinking of
creating some sort of channel similar to
zombie guild boom but with like robots
and terminators that way the electricity
would actually like mess up their
circuits but that’s like a long way down
the line I need to get my youtube
following to the point where I can get
more sponsors not just so I can reap the
benefits so that I can actually continue
this because all these prototypes are
very
Spence’s I’m not just like you know
coming up with the money it’s coming
from your viewership but also out of my
own pocket and so it’s like at some
point something’s got to give I can’t do
this forever so please you want to help
my channel I’m not asking for any money
but just like support me watch all my
videos also I’m on Instagram and Twitter
like me on Facebook and also support
captain intrigue and the superhero armor
he is a really underrated youtuber and
he deserves more support so go check out
his channel I’ll you link in the
description this video I’m really
excited to hear all of your different
suggestions for future projects leave a
comment below if you have any questions
I have no problem this is about you guys
being more creative and learning and I
want anyone to get bored you know I get
bored of video games and so I decided
hey why not actually become the hero I
just can’t get enough that we really
like so much electricity the fire
it’s insane I made it I’m literally in
love with design there but seriously
guys and gals everyone I love you thank
you so much for supporting me it means
so much to know that there’s people out
there who are coming here each week
thank you so much for watching and as
always take it easy
