hey everyone today I’ll be showing you
one of the most badass lighter mods
you’ll probably ever see at least for
these type of really cheap disposable
lighters this build is super simple and
produces some extremely awesome results
but before I show you what I’m talking
about I just want to be clear that this
video is for entertainment purposes only
if you rely on the information portrayed

have fun and overall just don’t be
stupid so here we have our two very
simple lighter mods Fire and Ice now
this one is very popular you’ve probably
seen this one before just basically
creating a larger flame by adjusting the
little valve here and doing some simple
tweaking and modifications really common
still pretty cool for our ice we’re
actually taking out a key feature that
allows you to shoot out liquid fuel and
I just want to show you temperature
before so we’re at seventy three point
six degrees now we’re going to hit it
with our ice mod
you can see there’s frozen fuel here-

and you can see all the little ice
crystals that have formed pretty cool
right so what do you think happens when
you combine fire and ice so this is
pretty cool and a very compact little
package but I’m sure a lot of you are
really curious if I could actually make
this into one complete package almost
like a wrist flamethrower now I am
working on something like that I have a
lot of drawings and plans actually found
a really awesome youtuber by the name of
Captain intrigue he’s doing some
seriously next-level stuff with gadgets
he’s basically a superhero already you
definitely have to go check out his
channel and see what he’s done watch

for this project you’ll need some butane
fuel some of these lighters here which
you can buy in a three pack for about a
dollar pliers and also for aesthetic
purposes some carbon fiber vinyl which
gives it that finished and more
professional look also I would recommend
some rubber gloves or something to
insulate because whenever you’re taking
these apart you’re going to have some of
the fuel leaked on you can get very cold
and just for safety purposes it’s good
to have something to protect you so
first we’re going to create our fire
lighter so we’re going to go ahead and
take this apart now this is actually
really simple this is a little trick
that’s been around for a while you kind
of push this up to the left and then
press it down and turn it right if
you’re kind of using this like a little
wrench open up the valve a little bit
more you can tell we got there we’re
good then just kind of squeeze this back
on and it is a simple set I’ll keep in
mind if you let too much fuel out it’s
going to start to liquify and go
everywhere and you don’t want that so
keep it right around turning it about
twice to let the right just how I showed
you and you should be good so now we’re
going to modify the eye slider so this
is a little bit more in-depth you’re
going to want to disassemble it making
sure that you hold on to this part here
as well as the little button that’s
going to press this down everything else
pretty much isn’t necessary but there’s
a couple pieces you might want to hold
on to such as this little Flint here now
this part here can be also removed and
this little
adjustment tool this is where
fingernails would be useful or maybe a
flathead screwdriver and never mind
there we go so hold on to that now at
this point you’re going to need put some
gloves on because you’re going to be
opening this up all the fuel is going to
basically be released it’s going to be
really cold and butane fuel is not very
good for your skin so now I have a glove
on going to just turn this and yes it’s
going to leak and there’s going to be
some gas releasing now what’s
interesting is it’s still sitting there
it’s not evaporating or just going
everywhere until you actually turn so
now the fuel is out you can see kind of
stain it a little bit that’s okay so
this is actually the only reason that
the fuel doesn’t shoot out of this thing
and give us our spray what you do is
take this screw back in

now I did add the spring flint and wheel
back to this lighter and that’s just for
aesthetics because unfortunately if you
use the strike wheel it’s not hot enough
to actually catch the fuel so that is
kind of a bummer but really cool
everything was basically contained in
one really inconspicuous package but I
guess this kind of adds a little bit
more authenticity to it because you
still have the striker wheel but so
that’s something that I can work on and
maybe I can bring that into a later
version it’s probably going to be a bit
bulkier but I think it’s something
that’s worth pursuing now if you’re
curious about how to reassemble the
lighter with a flint wheel going to need
some needle nose pliers put the spring
back into the little hole right there
then take the Flint and this is very
tricky so might take you a couple times
and it helps if you have some extra
Flint’s sort of like this and press down
until it’s about there so that you can
just sort of like that you just have to
smash it back on there honestly it’s
there’s no easy way to do it and that
would be how it’s done so it’s a little
bit tricky it’s not necessary so leave a

any type of gadgets that you want me to
build or maybe there’s something that
you’ve built that you think is really
unique and you’d like to share so since
it’s so inexpensive to be able to refill
these and fire them I wanted to see just
how powerful these can actually be and
so I’m going to test how many fire balls
we can make which would be just pressing
the button really quick how long the
duration of the flame actually is and
maybe a combination between the two so I
have three of these might as well test
amounts and it’s pretty cool I mean the
really
offensive and like I said this is more
of just a hack something for fun gets a
little bit hot there so you got to be
careful

don’t really know if they counted but
give or take you can see now we’re going
to go for just holding it down and see
how long it will spray continuously for
and maybe observe how does maybe the
pressure die down whoa so about five
seconds I’d say it’s not bad see if we
can if I can sort of wield it like a
flame thrower mini lightsaber I don’t
know so there you have it call it
whatever you like but I still think this
is the most badass lighter hack that
I’ve ever seen plus it’s ridiculously
easy to make just please be careful if
