hey everyone here’s a vintage lighter
review this is the M Co gun light 6900
it’s a 1960s lighter made in Austria
it’s by the same company that makes
these impo lighters here you may have
seen these they’re pretty popular they
have this really cool canister that’s
removable these ones have a flat bottom
so you can place them down so you can
use it as a candle or whatever but it’s
pretty cool concept from the 1960s in
the front you can see em colo go and go
gun light patton made in austria quality
steel and then those are some directions
on how to refill it here’s some
directions all in Austrian which is
pretty good and then here is the lighter
itself now what’s cool is to me you
would never find something like this
being marketed today it just looks too
realistic to a small pistol maybe a 22
and especially the way that it fires
I’ve seen ones work fires back here but
this one actually you pull the trigger
and it comes her head out the front just
like a regular gun would so it’s a
little creepy for today just because if
someone asks you you know hey man do you
have a lighter you point this at them
yeah sure they’re gonna be like really
scared that you know you’re pulling a
gun out on them because I don’t know
it’s it’s real like you can even see
there’s a little hole here or a little
like imprint for the barrel and it even
kind of works like a gun right here this
is so slide that comes back this almost
looks like you know real functioning gun
in some ways and then here you can put
your ammunition or your Flint’s I mean
it’s very it’s very interesting concept
and obviously we’ve come a long way
everything’s disposable now this is a
really good quality though even the back
here you have these these little
crosshairs to go with the gun theme
there’s some like imprint here this is
all painted you can see on the front
with the contrast it’s pretty cool and
then here you can see the EMCO
6900 and the trigger has this like nice
little grooving on it for grip it’s very
nice
made lighter this one was an eBay
auction I got this one not long ago and
I’m really satisfied with it it actually
came unused completely unused so sort of
I guess lowering its value by using it
but I don’t really care because it’s
because of my collection I don’t really
not where it does sell these any day but
here’s the canister unfortunately its
rounded so it sort of wobbles which is I
don’t know why that did that but it’s
got this different design it actually
has this little groove here and that
makes sure that when you put it in place
that the crosshairs are staying
I guess parallel and straight forward it
doesn’t rotate like it does on the Emeco
xxx which is free moving this is also a
EMCO lighter and if you want to see this
I review of that as well these are
pretty cool I’ll leave a link in the
description for that but I know this is
one of my favorite lighters obviously
very unique and glad I could add to my
collection let me know what you think
and like I said there’s other video
reviews for vintage lighters if this
interests you leave a comment below and
thanks for watching
