hey everyone here is the hawk harpoon by
United cutlery first off I was really
surprised I thought this was gonna be a
lot larger than this basically it’s more
like a hawk utility knife but it is very
well built it’s got these holes drilled
into it so has a lot of purposes you can
tie it to a stick and make a spear you
can tie some rope on to it and this hook
can grapple on to a branch if you need
to yank something out of a tree there’s
a lot of survival uses and it does come
very sharp out of the box so you need to
be careful this sides not sharp it’s
sort of dull but I’m sure you could
sharpen it to edge but this edge here is
razor sharp so you have to be careful
also what I like about it it is sort of
already cut to be ergonomic and has a
nice little grip to it and the way it
sort of tapers out so it’s not gonna
slip and the only thing I also don’t
like is the sheath is kind of flimsy and
it’s not I mean if I would carry this
round I probably would put it on my belt
but it’s not easy to put in with one
hand like it’d be nice if you just
couldn’t push down and it would sort of
slide in but you almost have to use two
hands unless it’s already anchored to
your belt maybe it’s different but I
haven’t tried it yet but you sort of
have to pull this little tab out and
then seat it and it does stay on very
firm it’s not going any worse that’s
that’s a plus but like I said I would
probably prefer a regular sheath or some
type of system that you could sort of
just push down and it would clip right
in you need to like bend this back it’s
just kind of a hassle so that’s pretty
much it it’s got some nice little detail
here it’s aus six stainless steel and
I’m like it’s there’s a lot of uses for
this so it was a little bit expensive
that’s why I was expecting it to be
almost Hatchett sized
which would be pretty cool but it’s very
well-built full
idle and I’m definitely good quality so
that’s pretty much all there is to it
let me know what you guys think
thanks for watching
