Excerpts from Aacosan: directly to the subject of enlightenment # 4 (Straight to the Point of Enlightenment # 4)
When the novice monk,
Gao, the former was called Aacosan,
Aacosan asked him,

Then he asked Aacosan,

Gao replied, “to escape from birth and death.”
Aacosan said,
“There are people who do not receive principles
He has no birth or death to escape from him
Did you know?”
Gao asked,
“Then what is the benefit of the principles of the Buddha?”
Aacosan said,
“This monk is still a novice has lips and teeth.”
At this, the novice monk bowed and withdrew.
Then progress Dogu stop in front of Aacosan,

Dogo said,

Or inquiries? “

Or inquiries. “
Aacosan said,
“Many people do not read the Holy Scriptures
Or their inquiries
Why do not you get it? “
Gao said,
“I’m not saying they did not get it
It’s just that they do not agree to take them. “
