we were out here and the question was
posed right the park Christmas morning I
said why don’t we do an episode on it
the question is is it true that Moe
money brings mo problems we’re gonna
talk about that today I’m a bit of your
host of vitamin weekly and today we want
to answer that famous question that song
by notorious b.i.g Mo Money mo problems
there’s more money bring mo problems and
a lot of times when I sit in coach
people and and they tell me I want to
have a big house I want to travel don’t
make a lot of money they want to do this
they want to do that eventually when you
spend time with them you notice they
have this fear they have this hesitation
there is this you know almost like in
basketball you throw the ball to
somebody they don’t want to shoot it
they hesitate they throw it off shot
clock is gone and then boom we get a
turnover right so when when those times
come in people’s lives they want to
hesitate and why is that because they
have this fear of if I make more money
I’m gonna have some problems with IRS in
taxes and in lawsuits and and and people
coming after me for money and family
always asking for money and friends
wanting money from me and what if this
what if that and and so I don’t want to
have more problems so I don’t want to
have more money because that solves that
problem but the question really becomes
this so the opposite of more money more
problems does that mean if you have no
money no problems you could answer that
yourself I know I could I know what it
was to have no money and no problems you
know so does it mean that Mo Money mo
problems is inaccurate no not at all
having more money does create new
challenges new new challenges and more
challenges but this is what people
really are questioning when people say
I’m afraid of making more money because
I’m afraid of having more
what they’re really saying is I don’t
really know what to do with the money
once I make it so I’d rather not have it
the question I want to give you is and a
challenge I want to give you is if
you’re thinking about this is when you
do make more money somehow some way you
have more advisors around you you have
more people that are advising you what
to do with the money so you choose the
right advisors around you you choose the
right mentors around you choose the
people around you that tell you
take this money buy this investment
property take that money buy a policy
put some money aside for tax shelters so
you don’t have to worry about that part
get yourself another you know mutual
fund here get your short-term mid-term
long-term investments in place you get
advisors but the one thing when people
say men I don’t want to make more money
more problems it’s like saying I don’t
want to ever get married because being
married gives more problems of course it
does when you’re married do you have
more challenges you have another person
that becomes one with you you’ve got to
make sure they’re happy you got to make
sure you’re happy you got to make sure
if you’re happy they’re happy you got to
make sure you’re you’re keeping the
spice in the family and learning and
you’re hanging out with other couples
and hanging out with other people to
learn how they’re improving their
marriages and saying you know is it true
that if I have kids I’m gonna have proms
of course you’re gonna have Moe and new
challenges in your life if you have kids
you know changing diapers in school and
picking them up and they wake up in the
morning poop all over the bed and you go
to work and you have a tie on and all of
a sudden somebody keeps looking at your
tire they’re not paying attention to you
they’re going like this you notice you
change the diapers and there’s a stain
here because you got to go change the
time you’re upset it throws you off on a
meaning then I’m telling you from
personal experience and you go all of
these things are never gonna be going
away so yes life is as we age increasing
and bringing new challenges in our lives
but hopefully if you and I are growing
we learn how to manage these issues
better as we are growing in our lives
