Jamie’s Food Revolution update

hello all you lovely people this is the
latest food revolution news so the first
exciting thing that we’re doing this
month is Chipotle Chipotle is my
favorite happy friendly fast food joint
what they’ve done is they’ve proved that
you can be big you can be commercial but
you can also care they want a sponsor or
they want to support the food revolution
in a big way every year they do
something really wacky and brilliant for
Halloween this year if you dress up as a
scary junk food you’re going to be I get
a beautiful burrito for two dollars
which is a steal and that two dollars
will also go to the charity which will
be brilliant so thank you very much to
pay for your support and if you’re
watching this get down there on
Halloween go get yourself a beautiful
listening for it boo rito second thing
Huntington kitchen for all of our
friends in West Virginia Huntington
kitchen that was in food revolution is
still pumping away now it’s still busy
now it’s still helping the community now
but the great news for Huntington is the
Carroll County Hospital has agreed to
fund it for one more year yay big thank
you to Doug shields and the CEO of
Cabell County Hospital you’ve been
incredible since the very beginning and
big love to all of you so the child
nutrition bill has been put off to
November rubbish terrible red tape
bureaucracy and politicians god bless
them okay there’s a film out a really
interesting documentary film it’s called
the lunch line it’s actually very well
made nicely paced documentary about the
history of the school food lunch system
it’s not boring it’s really interesting
so it’s a great film it’ll inspire you
it’ll upset you hopefully make you
fairly angry we’re launching a big
website and the point of the website is
it’s the food revolution we’re going to
link up activists around America we
asked you activists people that want
things to change to sign up now we’ve
had over 2,000 people sign up now I’m
really chuffed with that one person can
make a difference but it’s tough you get
2,000 you can change anything you like
okay and I really believe that the next
thing that we’re doing on the food
revolution news is we’ve got a whole
load of recipes going up the theme this
month is tailgating we’ve got some great
chili Cassidy is chicken you name it if
you want to put your own recipes up as
well and share them feel free loads of
people love doing that another thing
that we’ve done is blogs of the month it
could be school lunches it could be
campaigning and we love you we think
you’re brilliant and the food revolution
really is about recognizing you and
being friends with you and also doing
things together because we all care
about the same things first ones called
spoon-fed lovely lady called Christina
she is from Rochester in New York and
this this kind of blog is all about her
quest as a mother to educate her
children in things that they should know
about it’s brilliant we love it we
follow you I suggest you guys follow her
as well she’s brilliant so keep doing
what you do in gale the second one is
called the best pickle there’s a lady
called Tracy she’s a registered
dietitian she lives in portland oregon
and basically every week she posts like
a weekly plan of how she’s cooking for
her kids as a dietitian using fresh food
and what she’s doing she’s proving that
it can be done it can be quick it can be
tasty it can be healthy and and you can
achieve it on it on a budget and I think
it’s quite inspiring so well done both
of you okay that’s it for the food
revolution news for anyone that hasn’t
signed up as an activist on food
revolution we want you we need you big
love thank you guys take
you
