you’re in trouble you ain’t gonna be
able to do it as quick a food processor
really really good obviously comes of a
grater blade slicer blades kettle I know
you’ve got one anyway
but it’s really important we haven’t got
time to watch cold water boil
okay pans I like to mix up the pans
stuff like this little stuff cast iron
where and then onto sort of stainless
steel aluminium a nice big Dutch oven
very very nice casserole tight pant or a
little thinner quite a big area it can
serve sort of six to eight people in
there a couple of different pots very
very important good quality non-stick
pans these little babies thick bottoms
you need to distribute heat well-rounded
sides for toss in and then poach
obviously any pots for your boil in bits
and pieces
griddle pan of any shape or size again
thick bottom to retain heat but for
cooking fish village steaks getting the
char marks lovely vegetables and then

cooked and serve we’re sieve and this

and then I have absolutely important to
have a wooden chopping board good wooden
boards always cost a bit more and they
should last you your whole life
electric scales really good for your
pastry work measuring jug pestle and
mortar wooden or stone it’s all sort of
debatable box graters now let’s talk
about great is the fact that you got
these different blades on different
sides adds flavor to your food in
incredible ways we’ve got basic boring
stuff like tin openers pastry brushes
ice cream scoops there’s my grater again
we’ve got tongs really important these
little babies for tossing salads pastas
meats I use this every single day for
everything fish slices slotted spoons
rustic spoon serving spoons ladles
coupler little whisks spatulas wooden

and you don’t even have to peel it bang
and the humble the humble lovely speed
peeler this little baby is grateful
ribbons of cucumber Cara shaving
Parmesan cheese bits and pieces like
that cut measurements bottle openers and
I think I’ve probably done just about
everything apart from our knives you can
actually survive with these knives that
is your minimum standard here right a
chef’s knife a paring knife and a
carving bread knife right that is what I
use 98% of the time okay so basically
