How To Make Mustard | Oktoberfest | Maddie – Jamie’s Food Team


hi guys and welcome to food tube I’m
Maddie and I’m part of Jamie Oliver’s
food team today I’m going to show you
how to make a delicious whole-grain
mustard from scratch and it’s flavored
with beer this recipe is so simple and
you only need a few ingredients it’s a
perfect homemade gift and if you like
the taste of beer it’s a really good way
to get it into your cooking let’s get
started place 115 grams of black mustard
seeds and 115 grams of yellow mustard
seeds into a large bowl add 250 mils of
beer and cover with cling film leave at
room temperature overnight the next day
put half of the seeds into a blender and
add 85 mils of malt vinegar blitz to
break down the mixture then return the
blitzed mixture back into the hole seeds
add one tablespoon of sea salt in 1
tablespoon of runny honey stir
thoroughly and spoon into sterilized
jars and there you have it a delicious
homemade whole-grain mustard you can
serve this on a hotdog or with a
schnitzel compare with a nice cold beer
perfect combination for Oktoberfest you
can use any way you want for this recipe
