Hello I’m Katie Pix and today I’m showing you how to make homemade tortilla chips great
for the party season for sharing with all your friends and a nifty way to use up leftover
tortilla wraps, shop bought tortilla chips are usually deep fried and heavily seasoned
homemade takes control of the level of salt and saturated fats in your savoury snacks,
pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees C, 180 for fan assisted, or gas mark 6, brush both sides
of your tortilla wraps with olive oil cut into triangles with scissors or a knife you’ll
get six decent sized chips from just one tortilla arrange in a single layer on a baking tray
if you want to avoid washing up like me use baking parchment bake in the oven for 7-8
minutes, be sure to check on them making sure they’re going lovely and golden brown try
not to burn them once cooled add a topping of your choice I’ve gone for sea salt and
balsamic glaze oh yeah, click the link for more ideas and there you have it as simple
as, now if you do have any leftovers be sure to bag them up quickly to avoid them going
stale don’t forget to subscribe for more tips and tricks in just 1 minute flat- bye!
