Hi Food Tube, it’s Tom from Treader Tube here.
Today I’m going to show you how to make my champions omelette. Now I eat this for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, and in between.
Not all the time, different occasions. But it’s super quick, super dense in energy and really tasty.
So let’s make it. So for this recipe you’re gonna need some whole milk, chorizo,
three eggs, chilli, garlic, onion, pepper, salt and that’s it. So first thing you wanna
do is turn your hob or BBQ on. And get your pan up to a nice heat. Now I’m cooking out
here in a cave, so this isn’t a kitchen. I don’t have the hygiene or luxuries that a kitchen
would provide. So bear with me basically. First things first, you wanna take a nice,
clean bowl and just crack three whole eggs into it. This is a great, quick, convient
super energy-packed food to eat. Right so once you’ve got your three eggs in a bowl,
basically you’ve just gotta start loading it up. Gonna crack some pepper in- it’s to
your own taste. However much you want in there. I like to put quite a bit. I like to add a
splodge of butter. I like to take little chunks and drop it in, because when it’s frying up
you get these little pockets of super buttery bits. Next I’m gonna chop some onion. Again,
it’s kinda how much you wanna put in. I like to thinly dice the onion. Just so that the flavor is really evenly distributed throughout
the omelette. Just splosh your onion in there. Same again with some garlic. I’ve got these
monster cloves so I’m not gonna put too much in. Get your garlic into the bowl. And I’ll
place a drop of whole milk in. Gonna take a chilli, for flavour really or for heat,
it’s a really nice heat in the mouth. So I’m gonna use about this much chilli. The final
piece to go in is a lovely bit of chorizo. So take it from the top here and then take
a chunk like this. Again, it’s as much as you wanna put in. Ok from there, before I
whisk this up, I’m just gonna place this oil into the pan. So now I’m just gonna take a
fork and get some air into this. So what I like to do with my omelettes is get the pan
really hot and then I take it off to one side, and I actually remove a lot of the oil. I’ve
got a really high quality non-stick pan. I’m kinda painting the pan with oil all the way
around. And leaving a residual of oil in there. Right, let’s do this. We wanna kind of fry
the underside. Ok I think this is now ready to flip. So even though we’re using a tiny
bit of oil, it’s still slippery, still perfect. I’m gonna leave it to take some more heat
in. Gonna take it off and put it on to my plate. Ok, I think the omelette is ready to
come off. Here we go- look at that! That is.. It’s just so beautiful I literally don’t have
any words for it. Grill off a bit of toast, just gonna butter it here. And let that butter
melt through. I like to finish this dish off, with some cheese. Cream cheese with flavour.
Sprinkle a few little chives just to make it look extra beautiful. So there you guys,
my champions omelette. For breakfast, lunch, dinner and all the times in between. Hope
you’ve enjoyed this and if you wanna see more, head over to my channel Treader Tube. Like,
