the World Cup is almost upon us to
celebrate this awesome event I thought
I’d show you guys a recipe that we
Aussies ate while we’re watching the
football and that’s by
how long you been playing soccer for do
20 20 years Oh actually professionally
professionals from UCB playing since
were a wee lad yes and who do you play
for now support and your offseason now
yes so that means you need anything you
want
we need to get ready to make this recipe
you do cook your home right no no and
talk awesome take this really sharp
knife and then finely diced me in a
minute okay you guys are going to need
an onion peeled and finely chopped as
well as two cloves of garlic peeled and
finely minced and you’ll also need a
tablespoon of freshly picked for as me
that’s been finely chopped 500 grams of
minced beef a tablespoon of corn flour a
tablespoon of tomato paste a tablespoon
of Worcestershire sauce and one cup of
beef sauce and the secret ingredient for
this dish will be smoked bacon – bacon
you guys can check out the recipe right
here if you don’t need use bacon that’s
fine just leave out the idea this is we
put bacon in there no fatty liver flavor
yes as soon as we start to hear that
sizzle we turn the heat down to medium
which I’ve done now because wonderful
cuz onions really really gently in same
goes for bacon as well in order to
thicken the sauce we’re going to put
into this I’m gonna take this corn flour
and put it straight into a bowl and put
just about a tablespoon of this beef
stock pinter they’re just enough to
bring it together into a paste
these onions been cooking out now for
what eight minutes or something and
they’re really stopped now and the bacon
has rendered that hinge that fat so I’m
going to crank that heat up and then we
go with the meat tomato paste goes in as
thus the Worcestershire they want to get
that a stir around we will cook it out
for a minute now I’m going to go in
about a cup of stock just enough to sort
of make this really moist and almost a
little bit review like once I come to
the boil you can turn it right down to a
really gentle simmer I’m gonna put the
cornflour mixture in now and this is
what will actually is a really thick
thermos and given almost gravy like
consistency today so can you give that a
bit of a stir through just like that
super away for about six to eight
minutes or until it becomes really nice
gravy like turn off the heat and let it
cool just take this melted butter and
just give a little bit of a paint job
around the outside there the mold I’m
using is big enough side this will be
able to cover the bottom and wrap right
up around the outsides of visible pie
molds when you’re doing this you kind of
got to be it’s very gentle put a little
bit kind of force but at the same time
kind of start to form the shape before
you get it into there so when you push
it in it goes in really easily
it’s quite important to have a mixture
really cool before you put it into here
otherwise obviously if we put hot
mixture in it’s going to make all the
bottom really sunny so I’ll get you to
put a couple of spoonfuls and easy to
hear so sitting flush with the top of
the clock a sip that’s cool when it
comes to cutting the puff pastry which
is going to be polluted please choose a
ramekin that’s the same size as the top
of the party price
[Music]
I’ve got a beaten-up egg here use the
egg washes blue to bring the top and the
bottom together
[Music]
pop those straight into the oven which
is on 200 degrees Celsius we cook them
for 20 to 25 minutes or until they’re
nice and golden on top you guys can
serve the pies traditionally with tomato
sauce or I’ve use a little bit of tomato
relish here that is how we make oven
party pies here at foodtube we don’t
know too much about football or he does
but US courts don’t luckily there’s a
youtube channel that does it’s called
copa90 jump over and check it out
[Music]

going to be awesome watch and support
Australia and cook these parts and
remember guys switch over to copa90 and
