well who whose River splitter we are
right now voce Street Jamie Oliver’s
stomping ground right now he’s in there
knocking out some grub and I’m out here
doing a bit street food I’m gonna be
making a Chinese glazed pork fill it I
make my own rotis new off oil rotten on
this channel okay first things first
I’m gonna make a little roti all you
need is a nice bit of flour it’s not the
classic roti where I hasn’t got all the
flavors in there we’re not using gram
flour it’s just plain flour
it’s very about 100 150 grams in there
all right bit salt I’m only making one
so I don’t need a big batch bit of oil
that’s just going to give a nice bit of
flavour make it stretch now make a
little well we’ll probably water in I do
not my hands dirty yet look at that the
reason I’m doing rotis is when I was a
kid I grew up around a lot of West
Indian community I scare and I make
South Seas mum used to give us a roti we
used to put in our pocket go and play
football
have a little bit of that so as a first
saw Street food I ever had right a
little bit more flour in it stretch in
y’all get the glutens working in there
we’re not going to let it rise but I am
gonna rest it cuz I’m bashing it up a
little bit so doesn’t need a little rest
roll into a little ball there you go
put it back in the bowl there cling film
on top pop that to one side for when
you’re ready to roll out and use it now
we’re going to make them all beautiful
glaze you’re going to need a bit of
sesame or squash wrong not too much soya
sauce when you put the honey in can you
see it’s going golden something to mix
this up the lovely shiny gold and colour
there have a little taste
a hole that is fantastic
it’s nice and gooey so it’s going to
stick to the loin now for the pork we’re
using a fillip so a little look inside
when there’s no fat there’s no flavor so
DJ BBQ suggested to me to marinate it
really well and maybe cut it quite thin
so it cooks really quickly
beautiful got a nice marinade going on
here
smells good it’s really sticky really
moist really sweet I’m going to put some
sesame seeds on there now right lovely
okay so while the porks making love to
the marinade over there we’re going to
knock out the roti bread little bit of
the old flour down there just to be
sociable ooh lovely is our bread getting
down there get your rolling pin right
give it a pat there like that first and
then let’s just roll out as flat as you
can very very quick we want it quite
flat because that’s what a row is it’s a
flat piece of bread that’s ready to go
now straight on the barbecue it should
only take like 30 seconds a minute on
each side beautiful
give me something to lift it with guys I
want to try and get this fire going when
those bubbles coming through and you can
smell it as well it’s ready to go
Oh boom shocka okay that’s ready let’s
get the pork on while it’s piping hot
the sesame seeds they’re going to be
nice and nutty right nice color look at
that beautiful flavor
can you see already that glaze look it’s
really shiny beautiful man big shout
gone out to the DJ BBQ ski I love you
please DJ can you go online and comment
this one it mean well to me thanks mate
that’s done it’s ready still moist yeah
I need a mop and bucket for that
that’s how moist it is right now now
Chinese glaze we’ve got some lettuce
let’s get some most people bed really
simple I just got these vegetables put
salt and sugar on I’m left in for five
minutes all the liquid coming out
squeeze the outfit vinegar done that’s
it and then your lovely pork beautiful
sesame seeds I’m in heaven
lovely I’m gonna wrap it up don’t it
dripping out all over your new trainers
