that’s right one take no cuts can I get
a hello so I received a lot of questions
from people asking if I could talk about
public speaking how to speak with
confidence and I’m gonna share with you
how to make a video on any topic it
doesn’t have to be becoming your
greatest version in one take now just
imagine you are me right now in front of
the camera and someone has just hit
record immediately you’re gonna freeze
you’re gonna be very anxious why because
you haven’t done this before this takes
practice so the more you practice
speaking in public settings with friends
at your aunties house do that and then
see how it feels because the more you do
it you’re gonna relax into your flow
what is the number one rule of making a
video in one take no matter what happens
you don’t stop you keep on going because
you see the moment you stop you break
the flow many times only watching
someone speak what makes them seem so
confident is even if they make a mistake
there is no mistake they keep on going
and if you can remind yourself that
there is no mistake there are no
mistakes it’s all part of the dance also
if you have a passion in what you’re
talking about it’s a lot easier to
freestyle
I grew up freestyling so it’s easy for
me to improvise I pulled things from all
different areas when I talk about
becoming your greatest version I might
talk about health here then I might talk
about the mind
here and use your hands like this that
will help you buy time when you have
forgotten what you were gonna say next
many times we doubt ourselves we don’t
feel we have anything to say it’s never
what you say it’s the energy behind that
matters many times people they’re
talking so fast when they are making a
video slow down because when you slow
down it shows you have more confidence
confidence means to trust if you’re
speaking really really really really
really really really fast I don’t
understand what’s coming out of your
mouth when you slow down you step into
your creative flow many times it’s easy
to become distracted when you are making
a video a spoken word when you’re
talking about science mathematics
because you might have some people over
there trying to try and wave at you and
stuff just don’t even acknowledge them
maintain your focus maintain your eye
contact with the camera because the
camera is your audience
but more so why are you making it hard
for yourself because when you are
talking with confidence simplicity is
the highest form of sophistication so
what I learned along my journey is to
keep it as simple as possible yes

and there but to be honest all of that
can even interfere with your flow it’s
not really important most people don’t
even remember any of that stuff you have
to be playful have fun
when you are making the video bring out
your wild side your creative side your
playful side bring your energy out then
