“Self-Empathy Exercise”
To survive in this world of stress and madness
Most of us have to become very skillful with self-criticism
We learn to reproach ourselves for our failure
And because we did not work very seriously or smartly
But we are so good at this that sometimes we are in danger of falling prey to excessive self-criticism
Or what we call “the skin of the self”
A very serious condition that leads to depression and poor performance
We can simply lose the desire to leave the bed
At these moments, we need a debugger
We need to take time for an emotional state
Many of us are very suspicious of them
Self-esteem
Self-esteem was suspicious because it seemed very similar to self-indulgence
But because depression and self-hatred are a constant aggression of a good life
We need to appreciate the role of self-interest in a meaningful and productive life
To achieve this, we can implement what we have called the “self-esteem exercise”
It is a structured meditation that lasts for about 15 minutes
Whether you are lying on the bed or in the bathtub, run a series of ideas that correct and intersect a path
The worst charges you receive on yourself
For some time, adopt a completely nice perspective towards your setbacks
Self-empathy is like this:
The first step:
“Mission was very difficult”
We love success very much
To the extent that we failed to notice the magnitude of the challenges we routinely set ourselves
From a distance, there is nothing natural about what we are trying to achieve
We failed, but put the mountain we were trying to climb into consideration
The conclusion should not be that we are simply idiots
The second step:
We have a complicated family history, we all have.
There are things that have happened to us at the hands of others that can explain some of our current problems
We are not okay or completely mentally healthy but none of us are
We were not well prepared to carry out some tasks
At the moment, it is not our fault completely
The third step:
Through the media, you may think that everyone is rich and famous and successful but in fact
Non-dramatic, non-dramatic failure is by far the norm
We should not destroy ourselves for not being able to control what was – in fact – a wonderful opportunity!
The fourth step:
The real luck
Strict self-critics do not allow themselves to believe in luck
They take responsibility for everything, they think the winners make their own luck
But this is not true, most often. Luck is a real feature of life
We steal from ourselves the ability to have a fair consultation
By believing that we control everything
Thus, we are totally blind when we fail.
Step Five:
Your overall value does not depend on external objects.
You not only represent your achievements
Physical status and success are one part of you,
But there are other parts as well.
The people I loved in your childhood knew this,
In the best moments, they helped you to feel that.
Hear the inner voices of all the people who were nice to you.
I was bathed in memory of a laugh
And independently of your achievement.
Step 6:
This will also go on.
It seems that it will never end
But this is not the truth,
It’s just the way crises look.
You need to reduce your expectations to zero for some time.
Take every new hour as it is.
The more you need is some rest.
End.
