welcome to watchmojo.com
I’m Haskell gourmets from the Victoria
Park top club and we’re at the Sheraton
Hotel and Montreal and we’re here to
give you the travelers training program
so when you’re going the distance you
can go the distance
so I’m here with Mandy and Pammy can you
tell the difference
I can’t I’m going to take you through
several training programs and you can do
in your hotel room whether you have a
gym or not so the first program we’re
going to do is a descending ladder we’re
gonna be doing three exercises push ups
sit ups and squats very simply we’re to
work our way from 10 all the way down to
1 so 10 of each exercise 9 of each
exercise 8 and so on until we get down
to number one so here we go how we see
Amanda she’s gonna go down she do a pull
push up down up down up her core is
engaged she’s tight she’s flat as a
board back is straight spine is in
alignment coming over here to Pammy and
you can see she’s doing some sit-ups
she’s engaging her core she goes a full
range of motion reaches out comes back
touches her toes
let me go back to Amanda and she’s doing
some squats you see her butt is down her
abdominal cavity is engaged and she’s
looking straight ahead far and away so
once you’re done doing your warm-up /
work out of the 10 through 1 descending
ladder you can go on to a tabata it’s
about as basically 20 seconds of work
followed by 10 seconds of rest how do
you time it if you go to your iPhone and
you go to your app store you can
download it’s about a timer for free
here we’re demonstrating several
exercises that we’re going to use for
our purposes but you can use in any
exercise you want in order to perform
the Tabata
a man is gonna demonstrate the Burpee
for us if she’s gonna go to one go manda
so she’s gonna do 20 seconds of burpees
she goes down brings her chest to the
ground jumps up plyometric Li claps her
hands in the air thus completing a full
Burpee she does this for 20 seconds
eight times before she moves on to the
next exercise after a ten second rest
period so once you finish the Burpee
without hesitation you get a ten second
rest you’re gonna go into your second
exercise which is going to be the
plyometric squat go ahead Pam it’s a low
squat with a nice jump the intense butt
goes down to the ground now I’m not
gonna be there to help you and motivate
you so you’ve got to motivate yourself
so the third exercise we’re gonna be
doing in the sequence is the mountain
climber that a man is about to
demonstrate now this is a grueling
exercise for 20 seconds on 10 seconds up
I don’t care who you are it’s gonna kick
your ass you do it with strength with
vigor this is going to test your
cardiovascular endurance and you’re
gonna keep your core tight and engage
bringing those knees right up to those
elbows you keep going going going and
again you’re on your own so keep
yourself motivated the last exercise
we’re gonna do for the tabata is the
plyo lunge
go ahead family you see she brings down
here need nice and low just grazing the
ground just a little quick jump nothing
too spectacular in the height but you
can go as high as you want the higher
you go the faster you go the more
difficult the exercise becomes once the
tabata is finished kick in your behind
the next thing you got to do is crunches
because no matter how tired you are your
God will work the ABS so if you don’t do
to the beginning your workout you have
to do it at the end here you see to
demonstration of figure-four crunches
and regular crunches what’s important
here is just keep the abdominal wall
tight and engaged and keep that spine in
alignment by not waving the head back
and forth I hope you enjoyed today’s
training programs from the descending
ladder all the way through the tabata
and the abs one last note guys nutrition
when you’re traveling it’s really
important to make sure you get the right
amount of proteins carbohydrates and
fats you don’t want to be going out to
the restaurants or McDonald’s and
screwing up all that good training you
just did
