Wonders of the Ancient World – Hanging Gardens of Babylon

euphrates and what was the ancient city
of Babylon the Hanging Gardens of
Babylon were created supposedly in 600
BC to cheer up Nebuta deserts homestead
wife she had found the dry terrain of
Mesopotamia depressing so an artificial
mountain with rooftop gardens were
created to resemble her homeland the
Hanging Gardens most likely did not
actually hang but over hon from groups
of different balconies and terraces as
was ostensibly documented by Greek
historians it remains the only ancient
world wonder that is still disputed to
have ever existed however recent
archeological digs have shown what is a
possible foundation for the palace of
the Hanging Gardens of Babylon
