amable scars are the result of what
happens when the art world and fashion

look at a line of scars that can be
featured both in an art gallery and on
the runway can you tell us about this
collaboration between the fashion world
in the art world for me I met Amabile at
one of my art exhibitions and she came
in and was looking at the art and we
started talking about whether or not we
could take what was on the wall and put
it into her fashion sense and then she
just started designing and playing and
we came up with this line of silk
scarves I love his work and i’m a fan i
have a few his paintings in my home i
always thought about creating clothing
with it and i never thought that he
would actually agree can you take us
through the thought process of taking
the painting to the scarves it’s instant
I can see it right away when I see a
painting I know exactly what I want to
make with it and I see the garment
finished what’s really nice about our
collaboration is that I do my artwork
and then I would call her over and
should come over and we’ll look at
everything together and she’ll edit
through and pick and select certain
things maybe certain colors are certain
gestures and she’ll take that and then
go forward with that with her own
process so how does it feel to see your
artwork on women it’s really a nice
compliment when somebody’s walking
around and they have your actual art and
it’s a piece of high fashion it’s not
something that it’s taken lightly I
think um I really really goes out of her
way to make something really special so
do you think you can show us how to wear
the sky I’d love to show you there’s so
many different ways you can wear scarves
and we’re going to demonstrate a few
unconventional ways I like to join the
two points and then begin by rolling it
depending on how you roll it you’ll see
different colors this is a fun way to
wear it
on the bag I’ll leave that on there and
i’ll show you another accessory that we
like to use again i like to fold the two
points so they don’t stick out and while
I you have a bracelet
this is a de same top only it’s in white
but you want to make it look different
when you’re going out so we like to tie
it here different open my favorite look
for summer is wearing it on the head and
takes your hair from the Sun
this dress is one-of-a-kind and it was

scarves that were cut up and sewn
together and it’s made especially for
