people who may not be familiar with your
line of work basically could you
describe tell us in a few words what is
an image expert well basically an image
experta or I like to call myself a style
coach it’s someone that assist people in
terms of helping them put together a
wardrobe that’s going to reflect at
their personality lifestyle and career
goals so whatever they decide or choose
to wear needs to be consistent with
their career they draw their personality
and you know lifestyle basically I’m
there to kind of a challenge all the
choices they they are making and kind of
help them find tuning to their personal
friend we ask the help of salespeople in
terms of advice on how to put outfits
together now how does the knowledge of a
style coach differ from these other
sources of information guess what I be
in the stores I mean the mo often
and I need to do some intervention
sometimes Katya because what happens the
sales people they like to sell the
merchandise they are not really paying
attention to who you are and I see a
sales person telling those people all
this looks amazing and you eat I asked
tons of questions to make people think
about what they have at home before they
choose to buy anything because whatever
they choose to buy in the store they
need to make sure that they’re able to
mix and match at home I don’t want this
to be like a piece of Northmen I would
say it’s going to sit in your closet and
you’re gonna waste money and time
because it was an impulse purchase or
because it was on sale before you go
grocery shopping you walk in the fridge
you see everything you have and make a
list of what you’re missing that’s what
I do oh really yeah I make people create
a list of all the items they’re missing
when they go to their closet they make a
list of the things they’re missing to
complement their closets so when they go
shopping they have a list and they’re
gonna buy only the things they need to
buy okay they’re not gonna be
and you know I mean
