one thing we all missed was a shot of
venom but as long as it’s better than
this
we’ll be fine Eddie this suit you got to
take it off oh you’d like that wouldn’t
you
welcome to watchmojo.com and today we’re
breaking down the top three most
important things you may have missed
from the venom teaser trailer we all
have our own problems
our own issues before we begin we
publish new videos every day
so be sure to subscribe for more great
content be sure to take a crack at your
own frame-by-frame dissection of the
trailer and let us know what we missed
but these are the moments that stood out
to us the most number three
Symbian origins okay no one expected
we’d see the Symbian come from secret
Wars battle world like it did in the
comics but nevertheless the clever
combination of origins that the trailer
is hinting at is a bit of a surprise
much like spider-man 3 venom seems to be
borrowing heavily from spider-man the
animated series however the MRI scenes
may be borrowing from the reimagined
symbiote origins from the ultimate
spider-man comics in which the suit was
created by Eddie Brock’s and Peter
Parker’s fathers as a cure to cancer
until Trask industries took the project
away from them it will be interesting to
see how the movie weaves together its
own unique take while paying homage to
the characters past whatever it is
you used to be one thing now you’re
something else
number two she venom well we didn’t get
to see the lethal protector in all his
destructive glory we did get our first
glimpse of Michelle Williams as Eddie
Brock’s ex-wife and way in the comics
the Venom symbiote bonded with Anne to
save her life turning her into she venom
with her newfound powers and tore
through a couple of common crooks and
was shocked to discover the aftermath of
her violent outburst once the symbiote
returned to Eddie leaving her completely
traumatized months later seeing Eddie
again and witnessing spider-man in his
black suit triggered Anne’s
post-traumatic stress and as a result
she took her own life we likely won’t
see the storyline play out but expect a
few Easter eggs and subtle nods to
Anne’s comic book past one’s venom hits
theaters number one light foundation
there were a few references to the
classic venom lethal protector
miniseries including the fact that much
like the comic book story arc the movie
will be taking place in San Francisco
but there’s another shot that may also
be a nod to the villains of that
storyline but five symbionts created by
the light foundation we first get a
glimpse of the symbian as Riz Ahmed
character looms menacingly over it we
can also see another jar that appears to
have another symbiote inside it as well
as a team of scientists in the
background could this mean that Ahmed is
playing the leader of the light
foundation and the man responsible for
creating the other symbionts Carleton
Drake we’ll have to wait and see do you
