my name’s Sean Malto good eating
let’s try to skateboard a little bit I
guess
hi I’m Veronica with watchmojo.com and
today we’re at the Gatorade ambushed or
speaking with professional skater Sean
Malto
now when was the first time that you
ever picked up a skateboard seriously
like 10 when I got one for Christmas I
was so excited and I just ran to the
skate park and just that was like my
first real like memory of skating I
guess do you remember the first trick
that you ever landed you know what the
first trick ever landed that I was
psyched on was a fakie big swing kind of
ride on the nose and then you aboard
Ghostly 16 you go 180 I mean not it
sounds harder than it is now Susan
you’ve landed some amazing tricks how do
you work up the courage to actually go
out and try it because you’re probably
gonna follow the first time I guess you
just kind of got to be confident about
things even though yeah every once in a
while things go wrong
Loui start with like a – stare and you
kind of work your way up 3/4 and then
eventually get to like 15 stairs or
however many you want to go work your
way up that way build your courage a
little bit now you’ve been in the
spotlight because of your talent and
your style are you different from other
skaters
I just think every skateboarder has
their own style
you don’t really skate for anybody else
obviously I’m with Gatorade right now
but ever since I was 10 years old never
since I got my first skateboard you just
kind of do how you feel you do you know
what I mean now you compete as well do
you have to train or it’s just a matter
of practicing see there’s some people
that train for the contest but I kind of
think just skating with your friends you
know like you’re staying on your Borah
keeping your skills polished I guess
what is it that you love about
skateboarding an easy tool for
friendships I guess you know you go
around could travel the world skate
different spots and I get to meet a lot
of cool people which is definitely
awesome you know I wouldn’t have it any
other way
