profiling the Keystone Resort one of
Colorado’s many ski destinations
Keystone Resort was founded in nineteen
seventy nestled in a valley the area
boasts the traditional feel of an alpine
village Keystone boasts four ski areas
durka mountain north peak the outback
and independence bowl Dirk um is great
for beginners and intermediates north
peak is perfect for skiers who seek long
bumpy trails the Outback is the area’s
tallest mountain and features bumps
groomed trails and powder independence
bowl is unique because of the amount of
snow it collects plus it features some
very steep sections almost half of the
resort’s total trails are considered
difficult however Keystone has something
for everyone snow tubing and snow biking
are both great ways to see the view and
ice skating is another way to take in
the fresh mountain air
