watchmojo.com and today we’ll be
continuing our travel series with a look
at Anguilla located in the Lesser
Antilles Anguilla is one of the leeward
islands the country’s capital is the
valley which is also its center of
business and government Anguilla’s
official language is English and this is
spoken by the majority of the islands
friendly and hospitable inhabitants the
country’s population of 13 and a half
thousand lives primarily on the main
island which measures 16 miles long by
just over three miles wide the island
itself is flat dry and relatively barren
and its terrain consists mainly of
beaches and dunes while the country is
at risk of hurricanes the tropical
temperatures in Anguilla tend to be
consistently hot year round this allows
visitors and locals to use the country’s
many beaches throughout the year and
these beaches are considered some of the
best in the Caribbean
