prepare to delve back into Lord Ron
welcome to watchmojo.com and she’ll be
counting down our picks for the top 5
reasons to play the dark souls remaster
before we begin we publish new content
every day so be sure to subscribe to our
channel and ring the bell to get
notified about our latest videos for
this list we’ll be counting down the top
5 reasons to head back to the land of
Lords whether you’re a returning fan or
a newcomer looking to experience a lot
of death these are the reasons we’re
betting that the remaster will be worth
let’s get the obvious one out of the way
first the remaster will feature a fresh
coat of paint the higher resolution and
frame rate looks stunning from early
game play videos and trailers so that’s
a good start and if you got a 4k system
it’s gonna look even better all be it at
a lower frame rate
nobody’s eager to go back to Blighttown
but this time at least the frame rate
should remain stable anyway nicer
graphics are always a plus right so we
can’t wait to praise the Sun in HD I get
that number 4 it’s on switch now you can
savor your accomplishments anytime
anywhere for the first time on console
switches dominating at the moment with
huge games like breath of the wild
Skyrim and Mario Odyssey already out
it’s a good time to get the console but
now there’s basically no excuse
while Bandai Namco has since delayed the
switch version it’s still set to launch
in the summer so Nintendo gamers will
finally have a chance to play Dark Souls
and if they’ve already played it then
they can play it on the go and actually
throw the whole damn console huh maybe
you should get an arm strap Dark Souls
remastered and the solare of astora
amiibo launched on May 25th number 3
expanded multiplayer it’s a worthy
reason to replay Dark Souls on its own
but how many times have we organized an
online session with our friends only to
never see their summon sign appear with
the game now using a password system
similar to what we saw in Dark Souls 3
in addition you should get a smoother
experience which hopefully means no more
getting backstabbed from 10 feet away
also there can be up to 6 players in one
session making for some pretty crazy
when Dark Souls was first ported to the
PC gamers jumped on it with hopes that
the port would iron out some of the
game’s more nuanced issues like the
aforementioned Blighttown framerate when
a PC gamers ended up with however is one
of the worst console 2 PC ports ever
made while there are a number of mods
that you can download to make the game
look pretty and play properly that’s a
lot to ask for a consumer that’s paid
full price with the impending remaster
however all of the issues should
hopefully be resolved plus it’s since
been announced that those who bought the
terrible PC ports are eligible for an
update with a 50% discount has a nice
way of saying sorry number one it’s the
maybe the games been on your to play
list or interested you in some way but
you never got around to playing it well
now it’s the best time with its
technical and visual upgrading as well
as its accessibility you don’t really
have many excuses left to not try it you
can finally cross quote playing one of
the greatest games of all time and quote
off your to-do list plus you won’t be
the only one playing as there should be
a lot of gamers both old and new online
this means that there should be a lot of
bloodstains around but a lot of
summoning signs too if you’re having
[Applause]
