this list we’re taking a look at plot
details from previous films in the
conjuring franchise that you should keep
in mind before seeing this latest unholy
instalment number three the timeline
there is this established timeline how
they are pieced together when it comes
to the order of its events the conjuring
movies
sure like to jump around the none is set
around 1952 before the main storyline of
Annabelle creation which is set in 1955
and Annabelle which is set in 1967 the
film takes place at a convent in Romania
where a nun has committed suicide and a
demon named Valik is lurking around
we’ve previously seen VALIC in the
conjuring 2 where he haunted the Warrens
and terrorized the Hodgson family in the
late 1970s so we can expect more of his
see all the different stories number two
ties to Annabelle that was taken in
Romania at a convent of cloister nuns
Valek was also briefly referenced in
Annabelle creation one of the main
characters sister Charlotte had spent
some time in the Romanian convent and
had a picture taken of herself and three
nuns who were living there but upon
looking closely at the picture
Samuel Mullins noticed there was someone
else in the picture behind the nuns
which is revealed to be the infamous
demon I don’t know I don’t think I even
met her with scenes like this it’s not
clear whether the filmmakers are trying
to build a Stephen King like mythos or
if they’re just using one movie to
promote the next one but either way
there is one sinister connection
lorraine warren claimed the demon merely
chose that blasphemous form to attack
her faith another one of alex forms is
the crooked man a twisted take on the
classic nursery rhyme that terrorized
the Hodgson family before he sent back
to hell Valek reverts to his true form a
we’ll have to find out in the next movie
if he has any new forms up his sleeve I
saw none do you agree with our pigs
