this shindig alive for this list we’ve
looked at the most terrible instances of
voice acting motion capture and even
some horrendous live-action performances
in video games there’s an art to
storytellin you got to have a good punch
line or something to spice it up a
little bit number 10 50 cent as himself
50 cent blood on the sand
Oh rather unexpectedly for a game based
on fiddy fighting a paramilitary group
in the Middle East the gameplay here was
actually praised but it’s the lackluster
performance of a woeful script that
dragged this third-person shooter down
withdraw all funds oh I’d do my banking
online we were never expecting telltale
levels of storytelling but we could have
at least hoped for a title that was so
ridiculous it couldn’t take itself too
seriously but alas his performance is
less G and more G that was bad not like
your Hollywood pretty boy Hollywood
gated quaint baby that’s what real G’s
live number 9 Matthew Perry as Benny
Fallout New Vegas it seemed like
obsidian had found a magic recipe in
casting former friend star as he is a
huge fan of the Fallout series and his
trademark wit would surely be a perfect
fit for a wisecracking mobster oh right
honey baby this is all kinds of wrong
but to my sweet it is
who knows what went wrong Ben has every
line he delivers is lacking the energy
an improvisational edge that made his
performances Chandler so popular now
you’re talking that is the ring-a-ding
move baby was Benny calling people baby
Perry’s misguided way of leaving his
mark on the character or just a poor
piece of writing
well we really hope it’s the latter
because he can do so much better

number eight Eliza Dushku as Ruby Malone
wet can’t do it
sorry it was hoped that the former Buffy
the Vampire Slayer actress would turn in
a gritty yet sympathetic performance in
this third-person slasher shooter what
we got was a character who comes across
as obnoxious rather than the cool
antihero goddamn right
the developers clearly had Kill Bill
protagonist the bride in their mind when
devising ruby but she likes the depth
and motivation to come close to
Tarantino’s movie character just point
me in the right direction I’ll do the
rest
Dushku probably didn’t have lots to work
with but even still she gets a d-minus
for effort I’m glad you approve
interestingly enough this isn’t the
first video game plot for Eliza as she
reprised her role as faith in the Buffy
the Vampire Slayer chaos bleeds the
video game to very mixed results
number 7 Bruce Willis as Trey Kincaid
apocalypse John McClane would be hugely
disappointed in the effort that Willis
made for this third-person shooter his
role is limited to mainly one-liners and
the occasional stretch of dialogue
something that should have been natural
for Willis yet he still manages to leave
his charisma at home Melissa’s
involvement to the game diminished
throughout development and it sounds
like his interest in the performance
went with it number 6 mena Suvari as
heiress Kingdom Hearts 2 really appears
like the American Beauty actresses first
take on her lines was her last take as
every robotic Lea delivered piece of
dialogue comes with bizarre changes in
tone and inflection well okay I
understand go get things settled huh it
takes you out of the game completely as
it sounds as though a machine that has
no knowledge of how human conversation
actually works put it all together don’t
talk with your mouth full
Suvari soft voice could have been ideal
for Eris but her woeful performance will
leave you cringing
where’s Sephiroth when you need him it’s
nothing I don’t want you involved number

Cameron Diaz Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore
as Charlie’s Angels Charlie’s Angels
good morning angels by the time this
video game time
was released the trio of actresses must
have been well and truly sick of the
cheesy action and cliched dialogue that
has defined two series I’ve always
wanted to read a criminal’s right you’re
a natural
oh you get the picture their collective
performance reflected the overall
quality of the game rushed flawed and
ultimately misguided you seem well
informed Dylan what the late Bernie Mac
clearly saw sense and wisely did not
reprise his role of Bosley for one of
the worst video games ever
number four Michael Biehn as corporal
Duane Hicks aliens colonial Marines oh
my god I just shot several actors took
their characters from the alien series
to the digital realm but beans Hicks may
have been the most anticipated
we’re here because we responded to your
distress call we need not have been so
excited as all of the over-the-top
machismo from the film he starred in was
noticeably absent you’re looking at and
yeah you could say that after more than
30 years away from the character he
couldn’t quite recapture what made Hicks
so popular in a wooden display of
monotonous ly reading off a sheet that’s
the longer story I care about one thing
taking these guys down number three the
cast of duck dynasty as themselves
duck dynasty today my friend you will be
learning the sweet sweet art of the duck
swoon the Robertson family have never
been afraid to dive into different forms
of media with a Christmas album and
musical both out there for you to enjoy
their venture into video games however
it was perhaps one step too far in order
to succeed here you have to be a
well-rounded Robertson inside and out
there’s certainly not actors and that is
painfully obvious as the elements which
made the TV show so popular we’re not
impossible to transfer into video game
form went no gooftroop we argue uh-huh
where’s that truck get in here again
what truck the show works because it’s
real well sort of okay not at all but it
looks real video games are not and they
never pretend to be but to be fair to
the Robertson clan
this is one of a short list of things
that they did fail at a lot of build up
but just didn’t deliver in the end did
it it’s scary that we’re related number

Christopher Walken as George true crime
streets of LA maybe think about firing
one piece at a time saves enough for the
senorita
you know what I mean Walken has a bit of
a problem whatever he takes on a boys
acting role even his own voice sounds
like a weird impersonation of the way he
speaks if you were my boy and you didn’t
take this opportunity I beat the living
crap outta you
it’s a puzzling paradox for a man of
considerable acting talent but his voice
always takes the attention away from the
character he’s portrayed yeah he’s a bit
rough around the edges they managed to
put quite an ensemble together for this
crime thriller but sadly walkins
distinctive tones don’t bring anything
to the party number one Peter Dinklage
as ghost destiny
you know you’ve done a pretty poor job
when Nolan North rerecords voice work
you have already done and then you’re
taken out of the game altogether
the crip Turks won’t believe this
Dinklage is one of the most popular
actors on TV at the moment yet his dull
voice work became the source of much
amusement in the gaming community that
wizard came from the moon how a man who
is in such good form and Game of Thrones
managed to miss the mark so dramatically
in a video game is a mystery to all of
