powerful armor puts its wearer on equal
physical footing with the Ceph alien
invaders having been reverse-engineered
from their technology its artificial
muscle fibers can be used for a variety
of purposes such as making its user
invisible hardening to absorb damage or
granting them super strength and speed
so does the suit make the man but does
the man make the suit yes I’ll have to
ask then number four the Animus
Assassin’s Creed series while this one
isn’t portable like others on the list
it’s one heck of a gadget that gives
Desmond Miles the ability to relive the
lives of his ancestors a holodeck for
the mind
powered by genetic information it serves
as a MacGuffin that makes it possible to
go back and explore compelling time
periods from a narrative point of view
it’s also a brilliant plot element as it
helps to explain the limitations placed
upon your character then why are we
stopping prolonged exposure to the
animus can have side effects
