10 creepy video game glitches

taking a look at what we consider to be
most terrifying glitches found in game
ones that sometimes make us crap our
pants throughout attentional delight in
order to be eligible the glitch must be
unintentional as we will not be
including mods cheats or anything else
that requires direct player interaction
okay nothing’s keeping you in bed
anymore number 10 Doakes – pelo Halo
series spotted primarily through Halo 2
3 and reach the ghosts the pelo are
terrifying apparitions that will kind of
make you want to stay far far away from
the nightmare that is the series
multiplayer these ghosts are essentially
spectral figures that randomly show up
on various maps and behave erratically
including gliding across the floor and
attacking other players like central
pools or guys they have no game
mechanics do not appear on the
scoreboard and are seemingly impervious
to damage

some possible causes for these ghosts
include stress on the game’s engine and
severe network lag but let’s be serious
I think we can all agree that the real
reason is that the games are cursed with
the souls of the Damned
end of story number 9 mana moles Red
Dead Redemption the world of Red Dead
Redemption is filled with crooks liars
and murderers and that’s just the city
travel outside the town limit and you
could be faced with obstacles just as
dangerous like scam artists bloodthirsty
bears or oh my god what the hell is that
uh as is the Wild West wasn’t
frightening enough it was apparently
littered with lightning-fast baby based
creatures that wanted to eat your brains
animals with the heads of human men with
bodies flying through the air like souls
trapped between heaven and earth
that’s it I’m moving to the city number
eight the dead live call of duty series
he probably weren’t the zombies that the
developers had in mind when they
implemented zombie mode throughout the
call of duty series and especially
prevalent in black on a glitch occurs
which these dead bodies rise from the
grave in some form or another like
moving their mouths or standing in front
of the player their soul resides
endlessly judging you for sending them
to the afterlife
it’s know what jarring being immersed in
the military shooter one second and
seeing the risen and bloodied corpses of
your victims standing in front of the
next apparently war really is hell on
earth
number seven demon children this in
three we did it
children can be Fieri there’s a lot of
responsibilities they scream alone for
seemingly no reason and they can
projectile pee colours vile like Regan
from The Exorcist but that’s nothing
compared to the nightmares that are the
demon children of The Sims 3 this glitch
makes certain babies and children
extremely deformed with some becoming
nothing but it elongated leaving less to
scuttle around the floor like the spider
head thing from well from the thing we
understand not really wanting to burn
your house down but that’s probably the
only way to combat these little suckers
honey do we have a flamethrower number 6
Gerald’s creepy face The Witcher know
anything about the cemetery only the
people truly fear to venture there for
ghouls abound if there’s two things that
can be stated as fact about this game
theory it would be one it’s awesome and
to Gharib the total babe in some
instances throughout the game though a
glitch occurs which sees Geralt face
become extremely droopy and grotesque
while his weapons kind of float around
and be a Witcher magic or something

the glitch only effects the appearance
of his face which makes it hilarious to
have everyday interactions with the
town’s folk while you’re burning the
face of Satan themselves
here here just oddly number five
incomplete faces Assassin’s Creed unity

a textbook example as to what happens
when you try to push out yearly releases
unity when it launched was a glitchy
mess from beginning to end what stood
out however were these incomplete faces
that were such a great balance between
terrifying and hilarious that they
became a meme basically overnight it’s a
good thing that the history books
omitted the fact that people in 18th
century France walked around with
sprouting eyeballs and invisible faces
because that would give a lot of people
nightmares

number four Alma will go away for your
two project origin co2 was a worthy
successor to a scary creepy game and it
featured some fantastic scares
throughout with most of them centering
around the sinister little girl named
Alma Alma would randomly appear in the
players field of vision
jingling like a madwoman and just
causing general tomfoolery
however some players experience a glitch
particularly in the swimming pool
section which would see almost simply
hover and never disappear it’s creepy
enough seeing her pop in and out of
nowhere it’s something else entirely to
have her glide through the air like a
demon inching ever closer to you her
gazing black eyes staring into yours and
okay I’d install our three mannequin mom
mafia to actually uh looks like I won’t
Joe Staton give it to me Joe you want to
get into trouble again during one
particular cutscene and especially
prevalent when played on a Macbook a
nasty which can occur which sees the
protagonists mother’s turn into a
terrifying mannequin mask monstrosity
her skin becomes a leathery and
nightmarish dark brown her eyes turn
into little black beads and she moves
with the grace of a puppet all the while
talking to her son as if nothing’s going
on talk to him please
promise me you go talk to him today okay
mom okay I promise what makes a glitch
even better is the fact that the real
mother makes a brief appearance
throughout the conversation like her
soul is trying to fight some sort of
satanic possession that’s overtaken her
but it’s all to no avail
you could talk to he look hard like you
were your papa
number two Doc’s exorcist head Fallout
New Vegas you can’t say what I can say
the recession name that you name this
infamous glitch almost fits within the
game’s narrative as the opening has you
the player getting shot in the head
with the good doc here telling you that
he had to basically reassemble your
brain if that’s the case he may have
done more harm than good
take it slow now it ain’t a race not
content with simply creeping you out you
will also float through the air with
limp limbs and a completely upside-down
head ensuring that you attack the game
snap it in half and bury it in a
landfill where it can never be touched
by human hands ever again what do you
say you take it Steve my cache and we go

the granddaddy of disturbing ledges
creepy Watson has terrified millions of
players and YouTube viewers around the
world since his first appearance in 2008

looking at him yet the second you turn
