England’s newest hit makers then found
international success when the Jagger
Richards penned I can’t get no
satisfaction topped American charts and
paved the way for out of our heads to
reach number one – are you anymore
satisfied now as Jimmy doing sexually Oh
number three let’s spend some time
together as Jagger’s and Richard
songwriting partnership grew the stones
landed several hits but let’s spend the
night together wasn’t one of them
it’s sexually suggestive lyrics
prevented heavy radio airplay and
prompted ed Sullivan
to request modifications Jagger complied
but visibly rolled his eyes while
singing let’s spend some time together
Sullivan forbade their return due to bad
behavior but they actually came back two
years later
number four Brian Jones cares a beast of
burden after tabloid reports cause the
stones homes to be raided Jagger
Richards
and Jones found themselves with drug
charges despite ongoing court cases the
bank managed to release two albums
before Jones addictions got the better
of him so it was the guitarist left in
June 1969 and was found dead the next
month two days later the stones paid him
tribute at a hype arcade featuring new
guitarist Mick Taylor
number five no sympathy for these angels

the front net don’t push around tragedy
found the band again in 1969 when an
unusually low stage and an intoxicated
and drugged up 300,000 strong crowd
proved too much for the hired Hells
Angels at the Altamont free concert

the motorcycle gang
during the band set as the site of three
more deaths and hundreds of injuries the
festival also marked the end of the
peace and love era

following the chart-topping success of
sticky-fingers the band relocated to
France to avoid tax issues using the
first mobile multitrack studio they
recorded Exile on Main Street which
overcame mixed reviews to top the UK and
US charts
it’s now toted as one of the band’s
greatest efforts
despite that success the band’s money
problems and drug habits pushed Taylor
to leave a few years later and he was
replaced by Ronnie Wood
surah number 7 Keith Richards and sister
morphine or heroin yeah it’s a lot
easier to get on it than it is to get
off it while headed to some Toronto
recording sessions Richards was briefly
taken into custody by Canadian customs
after they found leftover hash though he
was liberated there wasn’t sympathy for
the devil when police found heroin in
his hotel room a few days later and he
was arrested though Richards was allowed
to perform with the band a year long
case ensued and led to his split from
girlfriend Anita Pallenberg
person number eight definitely not
shattered
with their success dropping as quickly
as pump rocks popularity was rising the
stones realized they had to return to
their roots
thanks to the stripped down but rowdy
rock’n’roll of some girls the band was
back on the map
the album attracted countless new fans
that helped make it one of their most
commercially successful American efforts
number nine the stones get their
satisfaction elsewhere
despite several top five albums it was
evident that Jagger and Richards
couldn’t get along and after Jagger solo
endeavors and Stewart’s unexpected
deaths the stones thought things
couldn’t get any worse
however mixed reviews for dirty work
soon followed
while the members put aside their
differences for the well-received top
five record steel wheels the subsequent
tour was Wyman’s last before retirement
number ten it’s not all doom and gloom
after some albums in the 90s the stones
took a break from recording music so
when they release their first record of
new material in eight years fans

and it’s record-setting world tour
