Top 10 Movie Fights in Nightclubs and Bars

have a drink sit back and kick some ass
welcome to watchmojo.com and today we’re
counting down our picks for the top 10
movie fights in nightclubs and bars for
this list we’re looking at big screen
fights that take place inside night
clubs or bars yeah fights that go down
in line to get into the club will not be
included number 10 hitting rock bottom
the rundown let me do it another night
how about that they’ve got a legitimate
shot of repeating this year I do not
want to hurt them want a quick way to
show your audience just how tough your
films protagonist is got two choices
option a you give me the ring
I make you commit around having him take
on the starting lineup of a group of
huge men with NFL connections is
certainly a good way of doing it in this
scene from the action comedy the rock
actually walks by Arnold Schwarzenegger
in what could be considered a symbolic
passing of the action star torch gesture
but that’s just the icing on the cake of
this nightclub bashing just watch and
you’ll see oh man what’s with all this
hostility man you should have taken
option a go number 9 beg B’s big balls
Trainspotting so he’s on the Block
pressure shot and it all goes wrong bait
most people have that friend who always
seems to be angling for a fight whenever
he or she has a couple of drinks what
indeed could one do just stand back and
watch and try not to get involved in
this crime comedy-drama
Begbie is the ultimate example of this
syndrome that’s where he go off on his
own sensory addiction he’s just
perpetually angry and is only the
slightest provocation away from battling
anyone and everyone yeah one scene from
Trainspotting involves him describing an
earlier fight while about to start
another and it’s the barroom brawl that
lands here
number eight one armed man in an
ass-kicking contest for a few dollars
more didn’t hear what the bed was your
life
the only brawl from a Western to make
the list this fight has a lot to live up
to in this scene from the Sergio Leone
film Clint Eastwood’s one armed bounty
hunter is only in this saloon so he can
capture his target alive or dead it’s
your choice
after Manko gives the outlaw his choice
between coming peacefully or in a grave
the arrival of his henchmen all
brandishing guns ultimately seals Reds
fate number 7 vampires and truckers
don’t mix from dusk till dawn dinner is
soon in from dusk till dawn a ragtag
group of people joined forces to stave
off a legion of vampires in a bar just
over the Mexican border
most of this action horror takes place
in a strip club and as you’d imagine
from a flick written by Quentin
Tarantino there’s a whole lot of
fighting throughout
while the short battle between Tom
Savini sex machine and Fred Williamson’s
Frost is worth a mention
it’s really the epic final showdown at
the titty twister with a jackhammer
stake wielding George Clooney that’s got
our vote and we’re sure you can see why
number six a little exercise Romeo Must
Die I especially like the part that goes
I once was lost but now I’m found
you’ve got to be a holder all up in here
man but I think I lost being the first
time gently was cast in the lead role of
an American film Romeo Must Die needed
to enforce what made the Chinese actor
such a unique entity for his new
audience and don’t come back a step
ahead and the best way to do that was to
start off with a bang yes I could use a
little exercise and this martial arts
nightclub fight that takes place early
on accomplish that goal though it
doesn’t feature Lee himself it does set
up the caliber of action that Lee’s
films would come to be known for guns
don’t kill people people kill people
number five not so serene after all
serenity after a season on the show
Firefly Summer Glau as River Tam was set
up as the perfect fighting machine
vastly intelligent River underwent
experimentation that gave her abilities
that even her closest allies feared hey
Jane
the transition to film via serenity
allowed the character to truly let loose
and kick ass as particularly
demonstrated in this bar fight that left
her on-screen friends and movie
audiences shocked you know that girl
I really don’t number for laying down
the beats Tron Legacy this is going to
be quiet arrive front with incredible
visuals awesome Daft Punk beats and
unique weaponry this fight is without a
doubt something to behold
the first Tron film is an 80 split with
sweet light cycles and a huge cult
following but could be considered cheesy
by some women however this scene from
its sequel is the ultimate example of
how modern effects can improve on old
concepts many cycles ago and it has
awesome action to back it up
number three the bride versus the crazy
88 Kill Bill Vol one one person in a
Bruce Lee style jumpsuit versus dozens
upon dozens of adversaries without the
possibility of escape not very good odds
if you ask us but if you’re the bride
and those sword wielding henchmen stand
between you and the Vengeance you seek
then those guys are probably the ones
who should tuck tail and run your mother
in the first volume of Tarantino’s
martial arts action flick we’ve got a
battle that’s without a doubt among the
most bloody ever put to celluloid and
one in which the bride remains unscathed
number two you forgot to say please
Terminator 2 Judgment Day if you’re a
cyborg from the future that has gone
back in time and you’re looking for some
clothes you’re probably not gonna want
to go to Old Navy I need you close your
boots and your motorcycle you’re more
likely to want clothes that’ll strike
fear and make you look like the badass
you are so it’s a good thing for the
t800 in Terminator 2 that a biker bar is
nearby take it oh all he has to do is
beat up all the bikers inside steal some
clothes a weapon and a pair of bitchin
sunglasses
before we unveil our top pick here are a
few honorable mentions don’t want
trouble that’s too bad
number one pool hall brawl out for
justice this is your trophy this is your
trophy okay
come on get it not come on his head yeah
so when you rules that come and get it
all right walking into a bar that’s
inhabited entirely by cartoonish New
York accented tough guys Steven Seagal’s
NYPD detective and out for justice just
seems to be itching for a fight face you
want to get by me there’s only two
things stopping you fear and common
sense and I’m gonna cut you off in head
off while giving up his gun he
challenges anyone to try him and even
offers up a bounty on himself of $5,000
Segal then proceeds to take down anyone
who tries to collect and unsurprisingly
leaves the place in shambles and we’re
done Vittorio so that means you can’t
touch me that’s right I forgot do you
agree with our list yeah I kind of did
