13th part 8 Jason Takes Manhattan
oh that’s nice we’re running five

if you thought Jason’s death and part
seven of this series was supposed to
signal the end of the killing sprees
think again Jason where’s Jason
actually come to think of it Jason
himself had a pretty iconic drowning in
part one as well oh my sweet it was
Jason my only child but in this
installment Jason is revived once again
thanks to some highly unlikely
circumstances and ends up following a
group of teens through the streets of
New York when he comes across one of the
teachers tasked with chaperoning the
group he treats him to a lung full of
waste
number nine dr. Norman Spencer what lies
beneath too cold I almost froze to death
flame here wet naked pretending to be
electrocution when you’re a college
professor caught up in a scandalous
affair with one of your students it’s
probably best to cover your tracks well
I actually don’t do much teaching
anymore in this case covering your
tracks translated to murdering and
disposing of your lover’s body in a lake
you killed her didn’t you unfortunately
for this college professor a watery
grave wasn’t enough to silence this
co-ed and when she saw the opportunity
for revenge she grabbed it literally
number eight Billy Tyne the perfect
storm
no one said that life is a deep-sea
fishermen was supposed to be easy
in fact it seems downright dangerous
especially when there’s all sorts of
adverse weather thrown into the mix
which is exactly what the crew aboard
this fishing vessel encountered when
their boat capsized on a monstrous rogue
wave instead of panicking and scrambling
for his life
this noble sea captain chose to go down
with his ship
number seven Captain Edward John Smith
Titanic
speaking of going down with the ship
this guy went out with a bang
well more like a crack and then a gush
of water as he bravely embraced his own
demise after the Titanic struck the
iceberg that led to the ship sinking
crew and travelers alike made a mad dash
for survival in a van full while some
scramble to safety and some were
sabotage in their efforts to escape
others like Captain Smith just said
screw it which is the honorable thing to
do
number six Jude’s sanctum finally
underwater cave diving isn’t exactly an
everyday hobby it’s one of those things
that requires a lot of experience and at
least a good chunk of change damn right
and while it helps to be prepared
trained and ready to get your adventure
on losing your source of oxygen
underwater can pretty much be a death
sentence don’t do it
Jude’s may have had a colleague by her
side but unfortunately he had to make
the decision to save himself
number five julia mccullough the
prestige which of you brave souls is
willing to bind this lovely young woman
some people think that being a magician
is all card tricks and hat rabbits but
those people have never encased
themselves in a tank of water while
handcuffed escaping a water trap is an
impressive feat when everything goes
swimmingly but when something goes wrong
that’s when people start getting hurt
such is the case with Robert Angiers
wife who went up against a particularly
tricky knot while underwater and lost
number four Vesper Lynd Casino Royale
she care enough that bond was so smitten
with miss Lynd that he was ready to quit
the spy business altogether I have no
other than that yesterday from me too
bad she was just in it for the money not
out of spite or greed or anything but
because she had yet another boyfriend
she had to look out for I’m sorry chief
so when she finds herself caught in a
building that’s crumbling into the ocean
it just seemed easier to take the
elevator to the ocean floor number three
dr. Lindsay Brigman the abyss deep
corded cab one we need all right yeah
after she and her estranged husband find
themselves stuck in a submarine that is
quickly taking on water they realized
that some tough decisions have to be
made what’s the plan I drowned you told
me back to the rig no one of those
decisions is that Lindsay should allow
herself to drown to ensure their
precious oxygen goes as far as possible
and then but can’t Oh her lifeless body
back to safety so that she can be
resuscitated on arrival boys deep
hypothermia
my little boy like ice water my body
systems will slow down they won’t stop
you told me that you know it’s both
terrifying and oddly heartwarming what I

my name is Dan Gallagher after she
boiled that fluffy bunny rabbit yep
pretty much knew she was gonna end up
dead interestingly enough she would also
end up submerged in water her time came
when she showed up at her married
ex-lovers home hell bent on killing his
wife if you weren’t so stupid you’d know
that stupid speech
when Michael Douglas finally has enough
he gives her a violent bathtub baptism
of sorts to exorcise those murderous
demons away of course it doesn’t exactly
do the trick but that’s why people carry
guns before we submerge our top pick
here are a few honorable mentions

ago I was forced to make a commitment to
an 8 by 9 cell now you want to be forced
to make a commitment this remake of the
1962 original didn’t skimp on the
suspense by the end of the film you knew
there was gonna be a definitive final
confrontation between the violent
criminal max Cady and his former lawyer
and after Katie tracked Sam Bowden and
his family to their houseboat all hell
breaks loose but you probably weren’t
counting on gibberish being thrown into
the mix if you’re gonna drown in a river
might as well have your last words
