from any certain movie however this is
part of a series of videos exploring
memorable movie characters throughout
the decades
I’ll bring the dog I love animals I’m a
great cook number 10 Axel Foley Beverly
Hills Cop my name is Axel Foley and what
it’s pertaining Eddie Murphy emerged as
one of the world’s leading actors in the
early 80s but he’ll forever be
remembered for this one role in
particular your ass is skating on thin
ice as it is look we’re talking about a
friend of mine hair as Axel Foley the
eponymous Beverly Hills Cop has the
unorthodox street smartness of a Detroit
based detective but heads for the west
coast of America instead yeah very funny
the gun toting trash talkin chaos that
ensues proved popular enough to fuel a
further two sequels while talks up a
fourth film have been ongoing since the
mid-90s
number nine John Rambo first blood
nothing is over nothing you just don’t
turn it off if there is a cinematic
archetype for the misunderstood War
veteran then John Rambo is that
archetype who later protests me huh who
are they a one-time elite soldier in
Vietnam and a receiver of the Medal of
Honor Sylvester Stallone’s iconic
character is a force very much to be
reckoned with
however having been tortured in the Far
East and having received a less than
friendly reception since his return to
the US Rambo is always one wrong move
away from one hell of a rampage are you
telling me that 200 men against your boy
is a no-win situation for us you send
that money don’t forget one thing what a
good supply of body bags kills just
don’t come this quickly for anybody else
back there I can fly a gunship I could
drive a tank how’s the choice a million
dollar equipment back here I can’t even
hold the jump buggy guard number eight
Jack Torrence The Shining got an
appointment with mr. almond my name’s
Jack Torrence an influential actor
throughout the 80s we might have
included Jack Nicholson’s work later in
the decade as Batman villain the Joker
that’s good work but we’ve instead gone
for his psychologically nightmarish
portrayal of a family man gone very very
bad
Jack Torrance is a writer looking for
some winter solitude to get on with his
work something that he hopes a period at
the out of season Overlook Hotel can
provide however the longer he his wife
and son stay at the hotel the more
terrifying the experience becomes
especially for his wife and son here’s
Johnny
number 7 Freddy Krueger a Nightmare on
Elm Street then if entry number 8 wasn’t
already keeping you awake at night
then entry number 7 definitely will
we’re all a little afraid of things that
go bump in the night but Freddy Krueger
takes it to a whole new level
come to Freddy he slashes stabs and
torturously murders through most nights
and some days depending on when you fall
asleep just tell me who did it I’ll go
get him baby Fred Krueger did it a
seemingly inescapable villain he attacks
his victims when they are most
vulnerable from fedora hat to grisly
glove choice Freddy is frankly
terrifying
number six John McClane diehard
yeah got a buddy to the Christmas party
by mistake
who knew from the horror villain to the
action hero and to probably one of the
most badass good guys ever captured on
film
thanks for the advice John McClane is
the vigilante cop at the heart of the
die hard film series debuting with
delightful destruction in the late 80s
Happy Trails earns as almost equally
awesome 80s character Hans Gruber sets
about taking an LA tower block by siege
Bruce Willis’s McClane proves a problem
that the German terrorists did not see
coming
aah machine gun oh oh oh
a glorious combination of killing and
catchphrases

Pete Mitchell more than earns his
maverick alias in our next movie as he
proves that rules are there to be broken
and that breaking them is brilliant get
some things ahead to cash a gifted flier
with no family to speak of maverick
lives and works with very little fear I

real nice a Cuban immigrant initially
refused a green card in the US Montana
makes his way in the country via
alternative outwardly criminal methods
when I eat that sauce up for breakfast
closed F come down there are many steps
to take between the ranks of small-time
drug dealer and omniscient crime lord
