online is fun and all but nothing beats
humiliating your friends in person
welcome to watchmojo.com and today we’ll
be counting down the top 10 video games
to play with family during the holidays
to keep these suggestions realistic for
sticking to newer titles and franchises
that regularly refresh for modern gaming
systems number 10 the Raving Rabbids
series kicking off our list is the
harmlessly psychotic minigame series
starring the blender obsessed rabbits
with several games across all of the
major platforms and countless minigame
types to choose from ranging from arcade
shooting to guessing games there’s
plenty to do with friends and family no
matter your poison you can’t help but
laugh at the sheer insanity number nine
we sports resort what’s that you can’t
afford a family vacation on a tropical
paradise and you don’t know the sports
equipment either not a problem okay this
might not be a substitute for the real
deal but the advanced motion controls
and charming graphics of the Wii Sports
Resort should appeal to everyone under
your roof the motion enabled activities
include archery canoeing cycling and
swordplay where else can you push your
kid off a 50-foot platform Mario Party
series what would any get-together be
without a board game and why deal with a
real board game that you can lose the
pieces to while chant still plays a
major role in this Mario themed party
game it’s your skill that will help you
best the other three opponents as you
navigate the diverging paths to collect
the most stars you don’t have to be the
best you just have to be better than the
rest number seven rock band do you come
from a musically inclined family or one
that’s simply interested in pretending
to be sure this game requires some
pretty hefty peripherals modeled after
the real band equipment but it’s well
worth it when you’re looking to feel
like a rock star and jam to your
favorite tunes there’s no substitute
Plus no party is complete without
karaoke Oh
number six super smash brothers a little
violence never hurt anyone
a far cry from other arcade-style
beat-em-ups this child-friendly Nintendo
flavored affair is very charming
in fact parents will have just as much
fun button mashing especially if that
means knocking their kids into orbit the
story mode is also accessible for a
richer experience not that we ever get
bored with free-for-all or team matches
number five just dance a dance series
spanning various consoles it can be
played on the Wii PS Move or Xbox Kinect

to try in the company of others
[Music]
number four Dance Central series really
like to just dance this Xbox exclusive

creation of thousands of levels every
day by a wide community a top pick for a
party game there is so much to do and so
much to experience you can even make and
play platforming levels inspired by your

with an iteration appearing on each and
every Nintendo platform there’s a wide
accessibility and all ages will love
firing Koopa shells at each other on the
track or in the balloon popping arenas
number one Nintendo land taking the top
spot on our list is the Wii U launch
title that combines the mass appeal of
Nintendo’s franchise characters and the
simplicity of party games
it also ramps up the fun with the
addition of a fifth player that can use
the gamepad to see what others cannot
this X factor makes for some pretty wild
antics whether it’s running from or
hunting that omnipotent character in
Luigi’s ghost mansion or in Mario chase
