in 2015 lekha was named the most
powerful brand in the world this is not
surprising considering there’s now six
Legoland theme parks several Lego movies
Lego games and they’ve manufactured a
total of six hundred billion pieces
since the company was founded
in light of this welcome to
watchmojo.com and today we’ll be

[Music]

feats that have pushed Lego mania to new
heights be it with their attention to
detail or their obsession with size
number 10 the tallest Lego tower in the
world
built in 2015 this tower is more than a
hundred and ten feet tall using the
combined efforts of 18,000 people
it was built in Milan Italy in five days
and more than 50,000 spectators came to
view the tower during its construction
[Music]
in total more than 550,000 multicolored
Lego blocks were used to create it
Lego gave around eight dollars to
charity for every centimeter of the
tower which equals out to almost $30,000
not bad at all
[Applause]
number nine the Allianz Arena
in 2006 the Allianz Arena was
constructed in Berlin for the 2006 FIFA
World Cup a few years later soccer and
Lego enthusiasts decided to build a
replica using Lego blocks after 4,000
hours and 1.3 million Lego blocks they
achieved stunning results
in order to simulate the atmosphere of a
real soccer stadium 30,000 LEGO
figurines were carefully dispersed
throughout and 5,000 LED lights were
used to light up the stadium at night
just like his real-life counterpart
number eight the Kennedy Space Center
this extremely complex construction
required 2,500 hours of work and 750,000
Lego blocks stretching across 140 square
feet exact replicas of each area of the
Space Center exist the control center
the Rocket Garden and the Vehicle
Assembly Building there is even ready to
launch space shuttle docked to a nine
foot tall Saturn IB booster rocket
number seven the deaths are that’s no
moon it’s five hundred thousand bricks
of intergalactic awesomeness now on
display in Legoland California in 1999
lego brilliantly teamed up with Star
Wars for the release of Star Wars
Episode one The Phantom Menace although
critics may not have loved the prequel
the union between these two giants was
particularly profitable and Star Wars
toys are now among the most popular of
Lego models the Death Star replica
weighs 1,800 95 pounds and is made up of
half a million blocks that’s definitely
the most impressive construction from
the Star Wars section of Legoland which
also includes replicas of the Hoth rebel
base and the Naboo royal palace Lego
mini London he is in the boot number six
Hogwarts castle had over two million
views and I was completely overwhelmed
by the response just as full-time mother
JK Rowling created the Harry Potter
universe this Hogwarts Lego castle was
created by another strong woman
it took Alice Finch more than one year
to build a true replica of the famous
school from the Harry Potter novels the
exterior of the school is stunning but
behind the doors is where the magic
happens
in fact there are all the characters
from the series all the rooms statues
and moving staircases the decorations
are on point as are the moving portraits
number five a Volvo xc90 just to get it
out of the way why build a life-size
version of this car well simply due to a
business partnership but hamath didn’t
turn out awesome
constructed by builders from an elite
lego group the Volvo xc90 is displayed
at the entrance of Legoland to
California and weighs more than a ton it
was also used to play a famous prank
where some mischievous park employees
had the brilliant idea to replace their
boss’s car with the replica
number four a 3d printer within the last
few years
3d printers have skyrocketed in
popularity the process is very simple
you create a three dimensional image on
a computer which is then cut out in the
material of your choice using a saw or
laser
[Music]
most 3d printers are used in
universities or labs but it appears that
it’s now possible to build one at home
simply by visiting the toy store the
only piece of machine that is not made
out of Lego is the drill which is used
to sculpt the special foam used by the
printer
number three a car that actually runs
what’s more impressive than a lego car a
lego car that actually runs it took Raul
Oh Ida and Steve Sammartino almost two
years and 500,000 Lego blocks to
complete this project the most
fascinating part of this car is
obviously the engine which is powered by
compressed air cartridges the car can go
up to 19 miles per hour but the drivers
prefer to drive slowly since the air
pressure could make the engine cylinders
explode and cause a huge Lego explosion
number two house
[Music]
James May a Brit along with thousands of
volunteers constructed the only livable
house made completely of Lego oh yes the
house holds 3.3 million blocks and is 20
feet tall it has a functional toilet a
running shower and a bed that’s well
more or less comfortable goodnight
everyone it’s also fully furnished with
chairs tables dishes and even a cat
unfortunately the house was demolished
due to a disagreement between mr. May
and the bosses of the British division
of Lego
[Music]
before revealing our top choice here are
a few honorable mentions
[Music]
number one the x-wing behold the largest
lego model ever built anywhere we have
seen cars famous monuments hit a house
but nothing is more impressive than a
spaceship measuring 42 feet long the
x-wing is made of over five million Lego
blocks making it the biggest Lego
creation in the world when it was time
for the big reveal
the fans were dropping bricks according
to Star Wars enthusiasts it’s even

only drawback is that it doesn’t fly but
one can always dream
