hit or miss when it comes to video games

worst Simpsons video games and

the list number five worst The Simpsons
Bart’s nightmare The Simpsons was on top
of the world in the early 90s it was
extremely popular and received immense
amounts of critical acclaim this game
however wasn’t nearly as well received
for one thing the controls are
absolutely abysmal which makes
controlling Bart and defeating obstacles
a terrible pain in the butt aside from
the atrocious controls though the
objectives are always unclear and the
graphics are certainly nothing to write
home about and no it’s not because it’s
nearly a thirty-year-old game this game
sucked even back then number 5 best
Krusty’s super fun house Krusty super
fun house was released at the same time
as Bart’s nightmare and it is by far the
better game despite its goofy title the
game has a rather outlandish concept to
go with its name though you control
Krusty the Klown as he directs rats
through various maze like areas while
the game is an amazing by any means it
certainly isn’t as bad as the others
found on this list the puzzles are
somewhat fun to crack and it could prove
to be an interesting challenge for
younger players it’s not great but it’s
harmless
number 4 worst the itchy and scratchy
game

an itchy and scratchy centric game could
have been pretty interesting
unfortunately this game is actually an
irredeemable pile of trash the game has
you control key as he chases Scratchy
and tries to kill him with various
weapons and well no that’s about it
actually for one thing the game
completely does away with the humor and
violence that makes it G and Scratchy so
popular within the simpsons universe
this would be excusable if the game was
actually any good you know it’s not the
controls are terrible and the gameplay
was mind-numbing me repetitive the itchy
and scratchy game deserves the kind of
thing that its title characters are used
to number four best The Simpsons Night
despite its mouthful of a title Night of
the Living treehouse of horror is
actually a really fun Simpsons game it
serves as a side scroller and you play
as members of the Simpsons family as
they travel through various treehouse of
horror themed levels because each level
has a different theme each stage has its
own identity and gimmick which borrows
the mechanics of other titles like Super
Mario or Castlevania the animation
graphics were also pretty good for the
Game Boy Color all in all it’s pretty
clear that a lot of love and care went
into the development of this one number
three worst The Simpsons Bart vs. the
when is it with Bart themed video games
being so terrible as we’ve established
Bart’s nightmare was rather bad and it’s
entirely possible that the Bart versus
series including this game and Mark vs.
the world were even worse this title
like most others on this list is a 2d
side-scrolling platformer which sees
Bart attempting to stop aliens from
taking over the world however it seems
as if the developers of this game were
more interested in creating a show
reference generator than an actual
playable game the platforming is
hopelessly generic and the gameplay is
very very frustrating and we’re not
talking like Dark Souls frustrating more
like these controls were terrible and
the game is stupid kind of frustrating

believe it or not they were still making
Simpsons console games as recently as
2007
luckily the developers were aware that
the series was running kind of stale at
this point and made the plot and
humorous self referential this does
wonders for the freshness of the story
in the game itself as it’s filled with
great writing and jokes that are you
know actually funny the game Lampoon’s
both the television show and video games
in equal measure – and it should remind
fans of the bitingly satiric Simpsons of
old while the gameplay was admittedly a
little generic it’s the writing which
elevates this game about the others for
your information I rallied the tact band
a very violent video game mom if kids
don’t play grand theft Scratchy they’ll
never learn real world skills number two
worst The Simpsons skateboarding
whatever

we don’t know whose idea it was to try
to plan the Simpsons with skateboarding
but that person is probably no longer
working in the video game industry as
the title suggests this game sees you
controlling various Simpsons characters
and a Tony Hawk likes skateboarding
experience only without any of the fun
excitement or cool music the controls
are clunky and the animations are rigid
which makes the skateboarding a chore
rather than a source of fun the graphics
in music are also particularly bad and
it seems as if the characters can’t go
more than two seconds without saying
something dumb it’s really just a halt
and exercising tedium let’s jump 360 in
the ground number two best The Simpsons
aka The Simpsons arcade game it’s an
arcade game developed by Konami in the
early 90s so of course it’s actually hit
to be pretty good the game itself was
again nothing original at the time it
was just like every other Konami beat
him up only with the Simpsons however
that means that it was the same quality
level of similar Konami games and didn’t
had the Simpsons it was a huge hit and
would easily be the best Simpsons video
game if it had not been for one other

was bad clearly you’ve never played
simpsons wrestling because it’s a
complete abomination wrestling consists
of mashing a button and hoping that the
game’s abysmal hit detection will
actually register all while your
character acts out your commands and
some of the most horrific animations
we’ve ever seen the only redeemable
thing about this game is its voice
acting as it’s somehow managed to snag
the cast of the show however everything
else is just just really awful number
one best The Simpsons hit and run who
cares video games are so late 90s
illegal fireworks are all the rave now a
Simpsons game really has no business
being as good as hit and run was not
only was it a fantastic Simpsons game
and easily the best but it’s a great
game in its own right hit and run
borrowed heavily from Grand Theft Auto
but it also improved upon the gameplay
in numerous ways including easier
navigation and mission restarts its
gameplay and wacky physics engine works
spectacularly fun and the graphics were
darn good for the time helping to bring
the game’s magnificently realized
Springfield to life
it’s a Simpsons game for everyone and it
