the likes of Frank Miller’s The Dark
Knight Returns results in a modern
costume that has the potential to be
just as iconic as its predecessors we
may have given this spot to the power
armor he wore when he goes up against
Superman if we’d have seen it for more
than you know five minutes

ability to glide it also gave us one of
the most badass mechanics in the whole

couldn’t wait to use it at every chance
you got number five The Dark Knight bat
suit in a suit three buttons is a little
nineties mr. Wayne I’m talking to
fashion mr. Fox so much his function
Christopher Nolan gave us one of the
grittiest and most grounded versions of
Batman to date and with it reinvented
the classic bat suit that inspired the
darkness and fear that we love the
character for something that had been
sorely lacking up until then out of all
the suits he wore throughout the trilogy

is like gravity it might be more
susceptible to gunfire in knives but for

well show yourself I heard you a mile
away in the not-too-distant future
Gotham still desperately needs its own
silent guardian enter the second Knight
trained by Bruce Wayne Terry McGinnis
donned a now much more futuristic
version of the bat suit with all kinds
of sci-fi bells whistles able to
instantly camouflage old batarangs
literally out of nowhere hack into
frequencies by mere touch and even fly
it might be lacking in the signature
cape but Batman Beyond sleek design was
a radical change in direction that
actually paid off told you you didn’t
know
number three the new Batman adventures
Batsuit I knew your massive ego would
never allow anyone else the honor of
killing me though I have to admit she
came a lot closer than you ever did
hood most fans would agree that with the
exception of a couple of standout
episodes the new Batman adventures was a
step down from the classic animated
series that being said
Batman’s redesign was near perfection
not to say that the original outfit
isn’t iconic but by replacing the yellow
bat symbol with a minimalistic black bat
and generally going with a much simpler
black and gray color palette The Dark
Knight here looked a lot more imposing
it was just too bad that the other
character redesigns namely the Joker’s
weren’t all that successful
number two Michael Keaton bat suit
following the hilarious exploits of Adam
West no one thought they would ever see
the dark brooding Batman from the comics
on the big screen that was until Tim
Burton and Michael Keaton came along
with an interpretation of the character
that still rings true to many as the
definitive on-screen Batman capturing
every essential idea of the Dark Knight
inside the costume
