Epping Missouri 2017 had too many great
films to list here we all have our
predictions regarding what will win Best
Picture on Oscar night of course we’re
just curious to see how host Jimmy
Kimmel will address last year’s infamous
mix up with lala land and moonlight in
addition to that scandal we’re sure
Kimmel’s opening monologue will also
cover sexual misconduct in Hollywood and
current political climate and good ol
Matt Damon number 9 love season 3 a lot
of show sent her on a will they or won’t
they couple when it comes to Gillian
Jacobs is Mickey and Paul rests Gus
however the real question is should they
these two are either a perfect match or
a disaster waiting to happen making for
one of the most unique romances in
recent years in regards to the third and
final season of love co-creator Judd
Apatow called it our sweetest funniest
season and also said that it quote ends
our story in a beautiful way picking on
in let’s be a couple painless must be a
couple a couple number eight Krypton
season 1 the blood of house caliber
always binds together our generational
ends have been heard the stars over the
course of 10 years Smallville explored
Clark Kent’s journey towards becoming
Superman this origin story takes
audiences back even further exploring
life on planet Krypton roughly 200 years
before kal-el was even born the sci-fi
series will follow the Man of Steel’s
grandfather sag L who seeks to restore
the house of L’s good name and save his
world before it’s too late with a setup
rife with possibilities let’s see if
Krypton gives Supergirl a run for her
money the store
isn’t about how he died it’s about how
we lived
number seven tomb raider what’s your
name Laura sunny croft the bar for video
game movies has been set so low that
2001’s tomb raider is arguably one of
the better ones while by no means a
masterpiece the film did a solid job at
capturing the campy spirit of the
original games in the same vein as
Crystal Dynamics recent Tomb Raider
titles this film reboot will take a
grittier approach to the franchise
cannily see if I can to bring out Laura
cross darker more relatable side just as
Angelina Jolie brought out her cheeky
thrill-seeking side don’t be too careful
these days
the world has gone bloody mad I’ll take
to number 6
Jessica Jones season 2 everyone has
secrets if not their own and someone
else’s with Disney starting their own
streaming service it’s hard to say what
will become of Marvel’s Netflix
Cinematic Universe shows for now though
at least there’s a second season of
Jessica Jones on the horizon while the
plot has been kept mostly under wraps
star Krysten Ritter stated if season 1
was in Jessica’s head and in her mind
then this season will be more in her
heart in other words we can expect an
emotional thriller as well as a
psychological one if you say when great
power comes great responsibility
number 5 far cry 5 when it was first
announced Barker I thought immediately
drew comparisons to many current events
such as Donald Trump’s presidential
victory in that sense this could either
be the right game at the right time or
the wrong game at the wrong time
politics and controversies aside the
satirical approach may be the breath of
fresh air the franchise needs following
the good but not great reception of far
cry 4 and Far Cry primal will Ubisoft
ever be able to top par cry 3 though
they want a war
let’s make sure we don’t disappoint
number four Atlanta season two on the
heels of winning two Primetime Emmys and
two Golden Globes Atlanta is finally
coming back for a second season which
has been called Atlanta Robin season the
sophomore season title references the
robberies that tend to occur in the city
before Christmas time while discussing

when they’re together but you can also
enjoy them in a little bit so in a
strange way it’s kind of like Tiny Toon
Adventures how I spent my vacation
number three a wrinkle in time what if
we are a part of something truly divine
[Music]
imagine 91 billion light years traveled
I compact in 2003 Disney brought
Madeleine L’Engle award-winning novel to
the small screen receiving a primarily
negative response 15 years later the
Mouse House is taking another crack at
the source material with acclaim
director Ava Duvernay behind the camera
the film additionally features an
all-star cast that includes Reese
Witherspoon Chris Pine and Oprah Winfrey
just to name a few taking center stage
is newcomer storm read as meg Murray a
young girl looking for her father in an
adventure that defies space and time
[Music]
number two I love dogs canine saturation
has reached epidemic proportions an
outbreak of dog flu ripped through the
city of Mecca sake
although Wes Anderson’s trademarks as a
director have admittedly become familiar
we can still expect something utterly
original with every film he makes Isle
of Dogs looks like another wonderfully
weird project that could only come from
Anderson’s quirky mind like fantastic
mr. Fox
this film utilizes stop-motion animation
to tell the tale of an Asian boy who
sets out to rescue his canine companion
from an island of exiled dogs think
something along the lines of an Akira
Kurosawa movie meets a rankin/bass
Christmas special Wow to the north a
long rickety causeway over noxious
sludge marsh leading to a radioactive
landfill polluted by toxic chemical
garbage that’s our destination correct
get ready to jump
number 1 ready player one there’s
nowhere left to go
nowhere
except the Oasis Steven Spielberg
directs this adaptation of Ernest
Cline’s beloved science fiction novel
the story takes place in a dystopian
future where a virtual reality known as
the Oasis provides a much-needed escape
inside this gaming paradise is an Easter
Egg that will grant its recipient
ultimate control the first person to
find the egg will inherit half a
trillion dollars speaking of Easter eggs
this film is chock-full of familiar
faces from The Iron Giant to Chucky to
Gundam and that’s just a handful of the
cameos hidden in the trailer we are
ready alright like many of you I only
came here to escape but I found
something much bigger than just myself
