anticipated but disappointing TV shows
I’ve decided to let you come and work

before we begin we publish new videos
every day so be sure to subscribe for
more great content for this list we’re
looking at hyped up TV shows that left
viewers feeling unsatisfied they’re not
necessarily terrible just not as good as
they could have been or was hoped for it
looks like I got one more chair left
right left to heaven number 10 believe
Johnny sequoia is Bo Adams a girl born
with supernatural abilities beyond her
control
as she gets older
her powers increase in strength forcing
her Guardians to break out a wrongfully
convicted death row inmate who can
protect her from the forces of evil
the premise is nothing we haven’t seen
before but believe boasted a fantastic
team behind the scenes with gravities
Academy award-winning director Alfonso
cuarón as the creator and JJ Abrams
serving as executive producer at the end
of the day unfortunately it proved to be
a gorgeous but tedious series that
failed to get viewers to care believe
was cancelled two months after airing
the pilot episode it’s gonna be okay
number nine Hank kelsey grammer is an
icon of the small screen so people were
rightfully excited when a new sitcom
starring cheers and Frasier alumni was
announced by ABC sadly hank was not even
good enough to be called a poor man’s
Frasier but don’t feel sorry for Hank
Pryor never feel sorry for Hank Pryor
grammar is a business executive who has
let go from his CEO job and moves his
family from New York to Virginia but I
am NOT doing this on my own
I can’t I know it may not seem like it
but I’m freaking out here no I got that
obviously ha jinks ensue 10 episodes
were shot for this family comedy but ABC
only ended up airing five of them Hank
was so unfunny Grammer himself asked the
network to drop the series no no you
should have seen their faces too it
killed them to fire me number eight that
80’s show the sequel to that 70 show
starring Dennis from It’s Always Sunny
in Philadelphia where do we sign up that
80 show follows Eric Foreman’s cousin
Cory Howard a struggling musician who
works at a record shop our power and
growth despite being created by the same
minds responsible for the hit series
that 70 show the spiritual sequel
struggled through its first and only
season before Fox gave it the chop Jim
Morrison’s God a God who thought my
breasts with like mushrooms while its
predecessor used the 70s as a backdrop
for a solvable cast that eighty show is
just a series of heavy-handed references
to its decade
creating a mostly laugh free experience
how you doing son
number seven Marco Polo Netflix has a
decent track record but they can’t all
be winners Marco Polo follows well Marco
Polo during his days in Kublai Khan’s
Court I follows the wrong path did the
unusual premise and high production
value promised a gritty historical drama
in the vein of HBO’s Game of Thrones or
History Channel’s Vikings took him to
the horse Gramps stuff his mouth with
the shit of pigs
unfortunately critics did not like what
they saw awarding the first season an
aggregate score of only 24 percent on
Rotten Tomatoes as of January 2018
to another season and a substantial
monetary loss Netflix called it a day
and canceled Marcopolo
you have much to learn China even a
blind man can see that number six feed
the beast
maybe they should have just let this one
starve – TV clyde phillips is an
accomplished TV writer and producer who
contributed to Dexter’s early success as
its showrunner and feed the beast he
cast David Schwimmer
as Tommy Moran an alcoholic struggling
to launch a restaurant in the Bronx but
whose dream is rendered difficult by
criminals and corrupt officials good
acting and visuals aside this American
crime drama was blasted by critics for a
bland plot and generally unlikable
characters how are you in the bottle
getting along these days really well
actually yeah yeah canceled by AMC after
just a single 10 episode season this
poorly received drama was dead on
arrival that doesn’t change the fact
that you owe us six hundred grand I’m
gonna pan back number five Charlie’s
Angels getting a zero percent on Rotten
Tomatoes is considerably harder than
earning a hundred percent especially for
TV shows you don’t look like we’re not
more angels if nothing else the reboot
of Charlie’s Angels can take pride in
having earned membership to that
exclusive group the original 1976 series
was hardly a critical darling but the
first two seasons found a huge audience
at that glorious phone record she texted
Eve at 12:35 a.m. Wow she wasn’t lying
about your man hacking skills this
remake on the other hand was criticized
for an uninteresting cast terrible
action scenes and was promptly cancelled
before airing the season finale another
movie reboot is in the works so this
ill-advised series is just a footnote in
the franchise’s history
she’s not really gone number four
Aquarius sometimes mediocrity hurts
worse than being outright terrible see
Yankees the world we eat the snake I’ll
show you how
Aquarius starts David Duchovny as a 60s
police detective hot on the trail of
Charles Manson and his family how could
they possibly screw up such an awesome
premise all right look hey hi where is
it Mike
it’s a Martin so you want to be pretty
careful with it while critics praised
Aquarius for the way it handled the
Manson storyline and the fantastic
soundtrack an over-reliance on police
drama cliches dragged down the overall
quality after broadcasting the pilot all
of aquarius’s episodes were released on
NBC’s web site for a four-week period
which may have further contributed to
its underwhelming ratings I don’t carry
vinyl sadly moments of greatness do not
always culminate in overall greatness
[Music]
a period drama about the 1970s music
scene created by Mick Jagger and Martin
Scorsese vinyls seem to have all the
pieces in place to be one of the best
series of the decade airing on HBO
with a budget to spare vinyl works best
when viewed as a time capsule of the 70s
rock scene you know what they call this
label out there in the world American
Cemetery where artists go to die held up
by solid acting and a few interesting
storylines its first and only season was
good but rarely anything more despite
announcing a second season renewal in
February 2016
HBO ultimately canceled the series in
June of that same year what happens now
what are you writing a book out of here
number 2 Joey a massively successful and
influential sitcom Friends is seemingly
set to live on forever in the form of
reruns
with that sort of impact a spin-off was
inevitable and Matt LeBlanc Joey was the
ones who receive the push unsurprisingly
removing five of the six reasons people
love the original series had an adverse
effect on the end product lasting less
than two seasons NBC spin-off plummeted
in ratings during its second year due to
airing in the same time slot as Fox’s
American Idol Oh God
they voted me off the show of course
they did I suck
Joey was unlikely to ever match the high
standards set by friends but even so
most expected better Oh Gina you didn’t
see me in those auditions I’ve lost it I
can’t do my job anymore before we unveil
our top pick here are a few honorable
mentions I’m Fozzie Bear and it’s my job
to warm up the audience with jokes well
God we’re gonna die of hypothermia are
you dangerous to them very dangerous hey
guys
Tommy you don’t have to do it alone this
time
we’re here to fight by your side number
one marbles in humans suddenly Marvel’s
iron fist looks pretty good based on the
comic book property of the same name
inhuman centers around an inhuman royal
family forced to hide out on earth after
a military coup
what would your parents think of you now
protecting the family they so detested
originally planned as a movie Marvel
Studios tried to have the best of both
worlds by screening an IMAX version of
the first two episodes take me where you
took the others sitting at only ten
percent on Rotten Tomatoes as of January
2018 the lowest earned by any MCU
product in humans lacks the budget to do
with source material justice criticized
for a bland story and weak characters
sadly there is little good to be said
about this huge disappointment not much
without your hair huh do you agree with
