of anime they’re well matched when it
comes to foul behavior welcome to

rivalries then why are you still alive
for this list we considered two people
who share similar objectives but come
into conflict with each other while
trying to achieve their goals
number ten Edward Elric and Skaar Full
Metal Alchemist series
by clasping your hands you make an array
with your body and circulate the out
chemical reaction within
I know your secret and without this
sinful arm you can’t transmute quickly
that is your weakness often in anime one
has to choose between the lesser of two
evils this is most definitely the case
for our first entry on our list edward
elric and scar first meet when edward is
investigating the brutal murders of
local state alchemists i will give you a
moment to pray
thanks for the gesture but I don’t
believe stopped a long time ago the
killer turns out to be scar on a
personal quest for revenge against those
he feels are responsible for the
genocide of his people there is nothing
in this world that can equal the loss of
my brother and my people nothing will
make it easier to bear
really you know what are you murdering
all these people definitely two sides of
the same coin Skaar possesses a chaotic
form of alchemy that can only destroy
while Edwards alchemy can be used to
reshape and create
number nine Shizuo
hey-ey Shima versus Isaiah orihara
durarara oh I’m not yeah I just want to
beat the shit out of you you know the
problem with you she’s a charm is that
you can’t be swayed by reason that’s bad
really bad now let me go
sometimes characters become rivals for
no other reason than because they have
nothing better to do
originally meeting in high school one of
shizuo’s friends becomes rather close to
Isaiah which resulted been some serious
melodrama this is one of the more
entertaining entries on our list as
these two will literally start trying to
kill each other every time they cross
each other’s paths best advice just
watch for random heavy objects flying
through the air
number 8 Inuyasha and Koga Inuyasha how
many innocent people of you and your
mongrels killed you reek of human blood
it’s not uncommon for demons to have
rivalries especially wolf demons
first encountering each other on the
battlefield Koga fought Inuyasha for
killing his followers why are you
killing my wolves this rivalry is
exacerbated when Koga falls in love with
Inuyasha’s companions Kagome it Hey good
who’s the woman while they become
reluctant allies as the series
progresses both demons want to murder
each other on sight despite having
relatively the same amount of strength
remember folks power isn’t everything
you haven’t got any power on your own do
you but you gotta know how to use the
power you’re whining well number seven
Alucard and anderson Helsing we will
crush your unholy body have salt the air
with your dust it’s time somebody put
you in your place human for our next

Vatican you shouldn’t have come here
Catholic in a world where the
supernatural terrorizes humanity the
Hellsing organization keeps them in
check answering only to the Vatican of
course
Alucard is widely known as the most
powerful entity in the series and
anderson is the only person who can hold
his ground against our favorite vampire
it can eye for an eye this technology
God’s divine gift the Lord gives us
tools to fight inhuman demons like you
you’re less than inhuman a pitiful
defect a failed science project sending
you back to your maker would be an act
of mercy
Alucard and anderson give us some of the
best banter and fights in the series

the client knows they each take
different paths as Suzaku Rises through
the ranks to peacefully change the
country from within
while Lelouch resorts to violence and
terrorism come join me the Britannia you
serve is a worthless Dominion maybe
that’s true but but this nation it can
be changed for the better and from
within what’s interesting about this
relationship is that while they loathe
each other’s methods they still remain
close friends friendship trumps
everything but you’ll die I don’t mind
don’t be an idiot an old friend of mine
always used to tell me that he’d say I

two old or died off number three light
and El Death Note because I wanted to
play tennis with you you’ll assume that

rivalries aren’t about brawn but brains
light is secretly killing people by
writing his or her name in a Shinigami
notebook called
a Death Note what will happen el is a
brilliant investigator assigned to
arrest light and discover the source of
his power the difficulty of this case
lies in its unprecedented scope and make
no mistake we’re witnessing an atrocious
act of mass murder one that is
unforgivable
this epic conflict is a battle between
two geniuses with the stakes being the
future of humankind I want the world to
know of my existence that there’s
someone out there passing righteous
judgment on the wicked number two
