I set the bar so high for those kinds of
movies that I mean like how many martial
arts movies are gonna replicate those
yeah I kind of felt the same way in that

I was I was I was kind of toying with
that one day really I was kind of
playing with that one I’m gonna go with
you know what’s interesting because I
mean there’s no denying that hard-boiled
is a tremendous John Woo film mm-hmm but
that probably wouldn’t be my pick to be
honest so I go with another John Woo I’m
gonna go with a better tomorrow a little

the best chases of all time The Bourne
Ultimatum a fantastic closer to an
amazing trilogy and then two amazing
Asian action films Crouching Tiger and
hard-boiled John wick another fantastic
Keano film Enter the Dragon I mean Bruce
Lee he’s just the goat and I mean
Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol I mean
that scene with Tom Cruise on the first
that’s legendary I’m who comes in
you got touched oh I got a man but hey
it sound like you had an opinion there
on aliens being better than alien I find
yesterday well recently we had a
discussion that alien first one is a our
movie disguised as a sci-fi flick and I
think aliens is an action we disguised
as a sci-fi flick so that was something
that was up in the air and I do find
aliens alien I got an a I gotta admit
it’s easier it’s easier to it’s funny to
watch the characters are better and
that’s what really solidified doesn’t go
back so maybe right yeah that’s stupid
right Ripley as a really that’s really
great any any films on either of these
lists that you feel are either too high
or too low for me I find that the Dark
Knight was a great trend-setting movie
in terms of comic book meets action
let’s ground the superhero but thirds
in front of the French Connection which
kind of set the bar for how a car chase
was actually filmed and shot me edited
change the game a bit for me the dark
but then again maybe my points are a bit
too cool decision but that’s it and off
matchless scuffle over Mad Max fury
rolls like yeah bro that’s right Mad Max
fury road is the perfect depiction of
let’s sit down there’s a tub of popcorn
soda and chocolate that’s just a watch
Anarchy be thrown at our face mmm
what was the storyline everything you’re
supposed to go straight turn left what’s
up yeah okay sorry in Mad Max fury road
and that epitomizes what good directing
did acting with very minimal stuff
that’s
what an action we should okay so it
sounds like Matt probably lost lost some
points for putting Skyfall above Mad Max
or you wanted to fail yourself well just

this let’s let’s look at those two
issues that you bring up Mac this the
issue is in the top three that’s that’s
the the pristine part of the list mines
on the lower end here look at this top
three look at that that has mr. divisive
Christopher Nolan behind there okay so
would you say just saying lower tier
higher tier take take that into
consideration is that’s all I’m saying
because what you’re saying is that now I
are you going to list the more critical
the rankings exactly exactly there’s
there’s less margin for error okay in
the higher end okay I think you’ve bled
enough many you have 50 points to
distribute to these guys I’ll distribute

I feel like I’m gonna give you each five

Terminator 2 and whatever you guys got
divergent and those have set the bar
Terminator 2 perfect time serenader 2 is
a perfect example of an action 1 weed
doesn’t always need a love interest I
love story between a mom and her son and
understanding one had to be a leader and
Arnold in there for good measure I was
kind of between aren’t holding the kid I
feel like I’ve shown a lot of yeah for
me it’s more a mother son there really
is it fair enough and die hard is
honestly like the skeleton almost every
action movie after 1984 88 88 where it
came out has copied for example speed is
die hard on the bus
pretty much right and that’s it and so
because okay so I gave up I have 40
points that we’re together all right
okay so I will give Matt another five
points for first blood being in the top
three because first blood is amazing
nice I’ll give Dave another five for
aliens numbers too
I feel like I should take away some
points or for putting a Dark Knight at
number three but that’s why overall
award Matt an extra five because matrix
it’s not three is solid okay and 25 more
points to award 25 more points okay so
give one that gives Mac 10 because he
has two Kiana films you know that’s
always fun John wick number eight but
before the Bourne Ultimatum it’s it’s a
very recent film yeah I know I know you

all of action movies look at the rest of

first movie being one of the best like
sci-fi horror movies of all time like
the aliens just wrapped up the action
and the explosions and it worked and I
mean the Dark Knight I mean Christopher
Nolan’s just rewrote the role the rule
book for superhero movies right there
and I mean the French Connection one of
the best chases of all time The Bourne
Ultimatum a fantastic closer to an
amazing trilogy and then two amazing
Asian action films Crouching Tiger and
hard-boiled John wick another fantastic
Keano film Enter the Dragon I mean Bruce
Lee he’s just the goat and I mean
Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol I mean
that scene with Tom Cruise on the first
that’s legendary I’m who comes in
you got touched oh I got a man but hey
it sound like you had an opinion there
on aliens being better than alien I find
yesterday well recently we had a
discussion that alien first one is a our
movie disguised as a sci-fi flick and I
think aliens is an action we disguised
as a sci-fi flick so that was something
that was up in the air and I do find
aliens alien I got an a I gotta admit
it’s easier it’s easier to it’s funny to
watch the characters are better and
that’s what really solidified doesn’t go
back so maybe right yeah that’s stupid
right Ripley as a really that’s really
great any any films on either of these
lists that you feel are either too high
or too low for me I find that the Dark
Knight was a great trend-setting movie
in terms of comic book meets action
let’s ground the superhero but thirds
in front of the French Connection which
kind of set the bar for how a car chase
was actually filmed and shot me edited
change the game a bit for me the dark
but then again maybe my points are a bit
too cool decision but that’s it and off
matchless scuffle over Mad Max fury
rolls like yeah bro that’s right Mad Max
fury road is the perfect depiction of
let’s sit down there’s a tub of popcorn
soda and chocolate that’s just a watch
Anarchy be thrown at our face mmm
what was the storyline everything you’re
supposed to go straight turn left what’s
up yeah okay sorry in Mad Max fury road
and that epitomizes what good directing
did acting with very minimal stuff
that’s
what an action we should okay so it
sounds like Matt probably lost lost some
points for putting Skyfall above Mad Max
or you wanted to fail yourself well just

this let’s let’s look at those two
issues that you bring up Mac this the
issue is in the top three that’s that’s
the the pristine part of the list mines
on the lower end here look at this top
three look at that that has mr. divisive
Christopher Nolan behind there okay so
would you say just saying lower tier
higher tier take take that into
consideration is that’s all I’m saying
because what you’re saying is that now I
are you going to list the more critical
the rankings exactly exactly there’s
there’s less margin for error okay in
the higher end okay I think you’ve bled
enough many you have 50 points to
distribute to these guys I’ll distribute
yeah this is gonna be right off the bat
I feel like I’m gonna give you each five
points because one of you guys got
Terminator 2 and whatever you guys got
divergent and those have set the bar
Terminator 2 perfect time serenader 2 is
a perfect example of an action 1 weed
doesn’t always need a love interest I
love story between a mom and her son and
understanding one had to be a leader and
Arnold in there for good measure I was
kind of between aren’t holding the kid I
feel like I’ve shown a lot of yeah for
me it’s more a mother son there really
is it fair enough and die hard is
honestly like the skeleton almost every
action movie after 1984 88 88 where it
came out has copied for example speed is
die hard on the bus
pretty much right and that’s it and so
because okay so I gave up I have 40
points that we’re together all right
okay so I will give Matt another five
points for first blood being in the top
three because first blood is amazing
nice I’ll give Dave another five for
aliens numbers too
I feel like I should take away some
points or for putting a Dark Knight at
number three but that’s why overall
award Matt an extra five because matrix
it’s not three is solid okay and 25 more
points to award 25 more points okay so
give one that gives Mac 10 because he
has two Kiana films you know that’s
always fun John wick number eight but
before the Bourne Ultimatum it’s it’s a
very recent film yeah I know I know you
could just smile give I’ll give a Dave
you know what they’ve got I’ll give
these ten points for just having entered
its mega night’s list as shit that is
Bruce Lee he’s a legend he broke the
barrier which is why we have hard-boiled
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon so ten
