hi my name is Caroline Fernandez and I’m
just here to give you some tips today on
how to break up how to stay broken up
and most important how to be on your own
so if you’re planning on breaking up
think about it don’t be impulsive this
is a huge decision and you could be
creating some major resentment and what
could be a long-lasting and healthy
relationship don’t initiate the breakup
while you’re in the midst of a fight
this is only going to create drama and
make your partner think the reason
you’re breaking up is because of that
silly fight you had an hour ago about
not doing the laundry don’t pick up your
cell phone and scroll down your text
messages every time you miss your ex
it’s not going to help you at all don’t
call your voicemail and listen to their
messages when you want to hear their
voice cuz they’re gone is this what
you’ve been doing sleeping in your bed
thinking about your past it’s not gonna
get you anywhere get out of your room
get out in the world and stop thinking
about your breakup get busy don’t be
lazy do all the things you’ve been
putting off you know that book you’ve
been meaning to read for the past six
months that closet you’ve been meaning
to clean visit your parents hang out
with your little brother start that
project you’ve been talking about get
out and get some fresh air so you want
to know how to be on your own you don’t
have to be go out make
new one old ones get familiar with the
people you’ve been meeting I’ve never
really gotten to know so you really want
to stay broken up with your ex the stop
trying to be best friends with them to
quickly build a distance between
yourselves make your own space if
there’s one thing I’ve learned from
relationships it’s not to hate let the
past go remember what you’ve learned
from it but don’t dwell on it
